While I do like it, I don't like the price. I'm more than happy with my Hasbro Ultimate Optimus. Sure he's a big brick, but for the nice full trailer it's worth it! I love the big goof!

that monstrosity has more kibble on his arms than any transformer in history has had in junk parts. they shouldve found a way to make a trailer that works with one of the many fine leader class molds we got, all your optimus prime is is an ultimate letdown and ultimate waste of money.

To you...some of us don't agree. I've got him and don't mind the tiny bit of arm kibble. Seriously, in person you barely notice it. He's actually pretty awesome.

the 2007 leader prime probably has more kibble than ultimate optimus's normal robot.

In person the arms were the first thing I noticed. The rest of the bot looks decent granted but between the truck nose arms and the brick super mode it wasn't worth the price.

Hardly. The Ultimate Optimus's base robot mode has the entire nose of the truck for a forearm that makes him look like Popeye the Sailor. They weren't even trying.

I think Jetwing OP is bad ass. Got mine in Chicago last weekend. Love it. i have Ultimate OP too, and must say, that as a display piece, he has some "bad assness" of his own.

Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I'd recommend both figs.

Thank you for the kind comments. I wish I could take better photos, but Jetwing was too big to fit in my setup!

As for the price, actually the newly released Ultimate OP isn't much cheaper than Jetwing Prime here in Australia (maybe $10 or so cheaper, someone in OZ please correct me if I'm wrong), so I was spared the dilemma. My wallet is still bleeding though :lol  :(

    Damn awesome...
But I have Japanese Buster Optimus...
Comparing them I understand that Jetwing beside him will look a bit poor... If the wings are detached of course:)

In addition to his frenzied price (and how much shipping to Russia will cost - even scary to imagine!) it should still stock up a good paint and brushes...
