All, there was a huge amount of submissions, but I was able to fit it all (I think) by taking those comics that were nominated twice and combining the entries. Some of you gave images and some of you had really thought out reasons with the submissions. I would ask that if you want those in here, to post them yourself. Kind of like campaigning for your favorites. :)

If anyone sent me images or update links, feel free to post in there.

Quite a few good ones, but I decided to vote for Mini-Bot's Partio.

I had to go with Thundercracker from Retribution. He's one of my favorite Decepticons and I enjoyed seeing his connection with Psycho. It's not often you see Decepticons actually treating each other fairly. It really expanded on him and I thought it was spot on.

I hafta go with Landmine here, just for the sheer scope of his change.

He went from minor redshirt joke character to practically the main character of the strip, and even he's reeling from the change. He's a great study in "What happens when you take a background character, who knows and is comfortable with being unimportant and expendable, and tell him he has to save the world?"

    Folks:

I'm voting for Partio, because MB took a virtual nonentity and made her into a real character who you want to cheer for. That goes for a great many characters in MBCF, actually, whether she's starting from nothing, or taking an established character in a unique and unexpected direction. MBCF relies on fine characterization, and Partio is a great representative of that.

This just might be the closest poll we've had yet. So many great choices. I was very conflicted myself.

Thanks to whoever nominated Ravage from my comics. :thumb

I went with Coolhand's Windcharger. That moment where we learn just why he chose to be a Dinobot was a real "ah, now I get it!" moment for me in that story. Before that, I had no real idea why he went that route, but after that everything clicked and his subsequent actions made good sense.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen so many submissions! Thanks again to whomever nominated me:eek:

I'm thrilled to see Mini-Bot get some recognition, as her story really is so character driven. Silverstreak's "history of the Autobot symbol" from OoDL really stands out for me, as he risks his spark to save Mirage on principle whilst rejecting Mirage's behaviour, but then so does Shane's Ravage, who has gone from normal to insane and is now somewhere in between. And I was as surprised as anyone when Strarf actually joined the Autobots in WaP.

This is going to be a tough one, maybe the toughest of them all!

Good idea with the poll having multiple characters for the same author, Zherbus.

I'm gonna go with Radioactive Ravage's Armorhide, for reasons listed in the first post. Although with the amount of Spotlight strips he's done, R.Ravage would probably have the most number of characters under his name, if they were all nominated.

    :)

EDIT: This is one poll where I really wish I could cast more than one vote... So many deserving entries here.

Dang... so far, it's a 3-way tie between Mini-Bot's Partio, Coolhand's Silverstreak or Windcharger, and Polencius's Strarf.

I know. We really got quite the field of great choices this time. I don't think anyone is running away with this category. It's definitely going to be a close one.

GAAAAAAAH! So close! Too many awesome characters. Voted for Chaos's Landmine because I think he's had the most drastic development, but honestly, any one of these guys deserve the top spot.

A very tough decision, but I ended up going for Partio.
