Last but by no means least in our Wave 1 Transformers Fall of Cybertron toy galleries is possibly the most anticipated of the three new releases - Shockwave! Why is Shockwave so anticipated? He's doing triple-duty - filling that space in your Classics collection for a Classics Shockwave, as well as fitting into your Fall of Cybertron collection and if the Tokyo Toy Show is anything to go by this might also be your toy for Transformers Prime Shockwave (at least, Japan is getting this toy as their Prime Shockwave, make of that what you will.)

Good thing he is an utterly awesome toy then!

Like Optimus Prime and Jazz in the new Generations assortment, Shockwave is a little diminutive of stature, but good things come in small packages. Shockwave has a cool and clever transformation that incorporates his weapon into the alternate mode, a nice solid robot mode and plenty of poseability. He lacks the waist swivel and ankle articulation, but the rest is all there. Plus there are lots of options for his gun - either as a handgun, or clipped over either forearm as a full on gun arm, or indeed with the silver section detached to make something that looks like an entirely different kind of gun. He's by far the star of this assortment.

Open the link below to check out the gallery of this awesome new Decepticon - it is the only logical thing to do!

    He scales awesomely!
    He IS a scientist, so
    there's no need for
him to be big and beefy.

As expected, Shockwave looks amazing and "designed by wizards".

It's nice to know i won't be wasting my hard earned cash on any FOC figures. Unless they make a voyager grimlock.

You're saying that on the gallery for the most accurate toy since Vehicon?

I don't like it, plain & simple. Not hating on people that do.

Damn, I want to love this, but that IS ridiculously tiny. Especially with how much they're asking for it. I really was hoping that this would at least be Soundwave sized. They really should have done voyagers for this line from the get go, Shockwave and Optimus are just too small. :(

I like how he fits in pretty well with the Prime guys.

Good photos. But I think Shockwave and all the other FOC figures DESERVE better designs!
Hasbro, it is time to listen to what fans think but not just the cost reports, you guys are ruining the brand like what you did 20 years ago.
We can compare any deluxe figure from Energon / Cybertron era to the ones after DOTM, and the difference is so there!

Yeah, so far this FoC line is extremely underwhelming. Add together the small size, simplistic design, cheap look to it, higher price, and every one of these is an easy pass for me.

There's really nothing I like about this version of Shockwave, neon pink translucent plastic, hollow/skinny legs, to me it looks more like a scout than a deluxe. I did really want to like this guy, this entire line, since I loved the WFC figs, but these just aren't cutting it.

Don't even get me started on FoC Prime, that looks like it belongs in a line designed for 2 to 5 year olds.

Damn it! Why Can't it be Thursday NOW! So gonna pull a christmas morning when he shows up, tearing up the box he came in. Now the question remains, to leave him in package, or not?

He looks great, but, like the other FoC stuff we've seen, it seems like he would've been better off done a bit larger and slightly more complex.
Here's hoping FoC Springer is a Voyager.

Meh, he's ok but he seems a little plain/basic/scrawny.

Still my favorite Shockwave figure, but this FOC figure is pretty nice.

I'll be picking up one of each of these new Deluxes, but Shockwave is definitely the one on the top of my list.

True he has some minor flaws, but it's still a great toy to have, and they managed to pull off a vehicle mode that's not only game accurate but has a game accurate bot mode as well.

It's good to see they keeping the scale pretty well with the original WFC toys.

Hate to say it but with how small he is DOTM will still be my shockwave.

I really wish the size of these things didn't bother me ... but it really does. I can just about live with the simplicity of the design / TF scheme and hollowed out parts, but he's so tiny!

I'm not going to kid myself I won't buy this, it's Shockwave, of course I'm buying it - but I'm just completely underwhelmed looking at the images.
