Darkwing the g1 decepticon was made in the late 1980s.

Though only one copyright appears to be active for disney's darkwing....

Hasbro is changeing the name to avoid potential legal tension; not that its actually present. That's still the right thing to do in a age of intellectual property.

As soon as I get Darkwing, I'm popping the toys out of my 97 Box set for my display...

and countdown, glad they stuck with the same character bio. Loved this guy and his base as a kid.

Darkwing will be mine (I don't care, I'm calling him by his original name). How I wish I had a Dreadwind to go with him...  

 

Man, Darkwing is nice. Good thing Botcon Dreadwind isn't too awfully expensive, gonna have to get one to go with him...and find some way to combine them.

 

So do you think universe countdown fires the missle to other planets and the vehicle just subspace shifts itself to those other planets? ala omega supreme.

Oh its actually pretty easy to combine those molds.

The best fart reference was an original character I came up with in 8th grade. I wanted a cool "Jetfire"-esque name and came up with "Ripwind"

Countdown looks great, never got a chance to buy this mold so if/when these come out in Canada I might pick it up.  

 

Definatly gonna get both.
