well i just played through it

short but very fun!

reminded me of the Episode III game only more force powers/more control of them [and episode III was a game that i enjoyed so]

but yeah. the controls are pretty simple but seems like you can do a myriad of combos and stuff. i wanna play through it some more so i can learn some more combos


pretty fun stuff!

throwing stuff around was obviously a must. the new physics and stuff they made for this game look like a lot of fun to play around with [admittedly there isnt a whole lot of it to test out on this level as pretty much all it lets you do is pick up and throw stuff] but its definitely a good sign! seeing stormtroopers desperately latch onto eachother is pretty funny  

very fun, very powerful moves, and its star wars

It's very goood but short. For being this awesome physics based new star wars game it has the same problem pretty much every other SW game had. I'm not using a lightsaber i'm weiling a big glowy sword-shaped object. Can i cut my way through doors? No i have to force push them open. Dismember my enemies? Nope. Oh hey here's an AT-ST. i'll just slice it's feet off and take care of it at my leisure. Nope, none of that for me. Only way to take the stupid thing down is via a quick time event. Boo.

Kind of odd but Starkiller actually looks cooler/manlier in Soul Calibur 4 than his own game. Darth Vader looks and sounds good tho, more lively than the movie version it seems. The controls are good, camera control is great and the combat seems a step removed from DMC. I dig the health gained from enemies bit, rewards you for getting even more aggressive as your health lowers.

Oh, and sadly you can't kill yourself via explosive decompression.

The controls don't seem too fluid, but it's still fun. Tossing around Tie Fighters, as expected, is quite fun. Also, picking up Storm Troopers and watching them flail about helplessly before they are thrown into a wall is fun too.

Hell it's fun!

Just wondering, can you use blasters in this game? That's not a selling point for me or anything in this game, just curious about it.

 

I don't think so. I think it's all lightsaber + force powers.




I got to say I'm liking this. Catching a TIE fighter mid air is awesome. It's pretty nice having a game where you feel like a total bad ass while using the force.
