incase you didn't know, a carded version has shown up called meantime, as in grenich mean time.

watch: first off all, this is about an inch too short for an average 13/4 year old kid. so only autovolt127 can wear him. but it is realistic, but the strap is too tight to be bent without dislodging the arms. the watch can be pegged together in 2 spots on the robot feet, and i wonder how they will fit this guy in his box, since we only know his name from the back of high scores card.

transformation: break off the arms from the legs, and fold the waist together, which will push up the plate with the arms and head up. rotate the watch screen on his chest, which can only rotate between the 2 positions and is nice and tight. fold the ankle sticking out bits back 180 and fold the toes and heelspurs to form the feet. fold the shoulder hinges down, rotate the arms and flip outy the hands.

robot: the articulation and look is great, with the limbs being both movie 'millions of panels' look and the blocky traditional look. the arms have molded details inside them shoing wires and cables. on the back are some exposed clockwork gears, which do not back sence for a digital watch, but it is a nice detail. also, he is lacking in the mouth department. as in he has no mouth. his chinguard covers it sadly. but still he looks neat with classics megatron battling longview :) .

overall: he is nice, and i reccomend you pick him up if you like the design, but something does not seem right in bot mode?

It's not a REAL watch, right? Your pic caption is misleading, he's more like a real wristband.

Your pictures are a little dark, is there any way you could add a little more lighting? For my pics I use a couple of 60 watt desklamps and some big sheets of white foamboard I retrieved from the scrapheap at work.

He's quite tall in bot mode. I don't think I will get it though.

in theory you could put him on one of those watch stands to display him. also, i fould i could wear him, but it caused me to get dodgy red marks where the skin/padding/whatever was folded over to male him fit :(

I really, really hope that some new watch-bots like the ones from the 80's are going to be made. I don't care if they're not Hasbro-made or even official Transformers. Some random company can try to cash-in on the movie hype and make some for all I care. Even reissues of the old ones would be fine. I loved those things when I was a kid because it was a toy I could wear into my classes and actually use, and when the teacher wasn't paying attention I could transform it and force it to do my tests for me. Maybe that's why I always failed them. Stupid watch-former!

Because it's buried deeper than OJ's guilty conscience?

And, look at that, I was the last one to post on this thread! Way the shit back in JUNE. :p
