i likes it... i would prefer the dinobots having realistic alt.modes for the movie instead of being dinosaurs.. You really cant be avoid detection if you transform into a giant T.Rex..

Very nice job with the design. Would definitely look good in 3d. :D

Love the concept and the artwork.

If I could find something to disagree with, it'd be the overall mass of his robot mode. IMO Grimlock should be bulkier than that.

But, don't listen to me. This piece is fantastic.

Hmmm. I don't think I like it that much. There are some parts that are great but others just don't seem right. I'm not sure....

i really like the upper body and arms. the could maybe use a little more bulk to them and the elongated toes are a little much...although with bulkier legs they would probably work. i could actually see this being Hound.

Let me clarify because I feel like I'm coming off too harsh. The work is very good. I do like that vehicle mode, although it's probably a bit too refined to be Grimlock. He's more of a what you see is what you get brute strength kind of bot. I recommend something rougher around the edges for an alt mode. Maybe a monster truck. That seems way more appropriate. I think I'd prefer more of a gray version though. Regarding the robot mode, the head doesn't really say "Grimlock" to me. He almost looks sad instead of angry and full of destruction. I like the way the forearms are brutal, but I think the upper arms should me thicker too. More ape-like.

Hrm. I like the look of it, but not as Grimlock. Another character maybe, but not him. Like Primus said, it needs to be bulkier, and probably have a different alt. mode. But overall, great work designing a movie character!

The upper arms and the lower legs should probably be thicker to make him appear a lot stronger. Right now, he seems a bit gangly. I'll also echo the sentiment that the alt mode is too refined for Grimlock but changing it to a tougher pickup wouldn't affect the bot mode too much, they you've designed it.

Otherwise, a great piece. Great technical skill and it fits seamlessly with the movie style.

    Ok, I made a big update :D
Now, my TFTM Grimlock is a Monster truck (i don't made the concept of alt mode).

So, I hope I have time to translate him in 3D... :D

Now that looks more like Grimmy. Big, tough, and mean.

Quite a nice concept :) . But.. I'm still not comfortable with the way the wheels are "split", you know.. It's.. just too weird for me.. X_X

But for design, I give you :thumb  :thumb  and a :bay
