    Perhaps this bozo is confused because White Lion was apparently called Lion at the onset. Not for long, and with no relation to the Lion that recorded the Transformers theme.

    Not that I care one way or the other. I just always thought they were two seperate bands, never bothered to do the research to find out otherwise. But if they are the same band that's cool, I still have an old White Lion casette that I like. And it would also mean that there's another band on the TF album aside from Weird Al that your average 80s music fan has actually heard of. Guess you learn something new every day.

    They are NOT the same band. Bear in mind there's really no confusion on the issue other than that on the part of the original guy the post was about. White Lion was an 80's hair metal band. Lion was an 80's hair metal band. The similarities end there - they sound nothing alike, nor were they related in any way.
