Hi Guys This is my Very FIRST movie repaint.
I know it has been done a few times now but there are a few things i did differently and i added decals to the finsihed product. I used the Movie images found at Ben Proctors website as a guide.
Please Enjoy and leave you Positive or Negative Feedback.
If anyone wants to know how i did certain parts please ask.
    Cheers.
    Rob.

what kind of paint did you use?
Does his turbine action feature still work after the painting?

it looks very cool, by the way.

    Gday Nightboomfer,

The Paint i used are Tamiya Acrylic's which can be bought from most Hobby Stores.

    They are used as follows.
XF-6 (Copper) Turbine Details and claws etc... anything that is bronze in colour.
XF-1 (Flat Black) Base Coat of the entire model.
XF-56 (Metallic Grey) Body and tail
XF-16 (Flat Aluminum) Highlights and body detail.

The Painting doesnt affect the movement or rotation of the Scorponok model at all, the model has fairly large clearances.

    Cheers.
