    Hey Radicons,

This was a commission I did for a very cool (and patient) fellow board member. He's the same guy who got the omega supreme from me, and he's got 2 more coming...soon

I've been taking pics for the past 9 hours, to let you all know, there's going to be a plethora of customs coming from me during the next few days

Anyway, here's my rendition of a TFTM Decepticon Motormaster, using, of course, Leader prime's mold.

The head comes from an Energon Megatron, and is modded slightly.

Great paint job. Motormaster is one of my favorites, but to me the boxier the head the better.

He looks awesome!! I do wish the head was a bit more TFTM, to go with the theme. I do think the ROTF faces are a bit more "traditional" so this will fit right in!!:thumbs2:

Gotta get goin' on my TFTM Ultra Magnus!:banghead:

How'd you do the head? I was told changing heads on that mold was next to impossible, which is why I haven't attempted a similar idea. I'm now wanting to make my own motor master.

The head is attached by a magnet. I kept the chest closed, and prime's head is locked in the cavity still. the door swings open still and has metal on the inside of the flap, it also holds the head in there. the magnet is strong enough to hold to the metal on the back of the flap.

reminds me of the one done last year that was a prime with a face carved into the mouthplate. nice man. not sure I care for the head though, it doesn't really make me think of MM.

    great job as usual F_R!

i love the idea of using a magnet to attach the head and keep the truck cab collapsed.

not feeling the head so much though, it doesn't really go well with the movie aesthetic.

    Thanks for the input.
I agree to an extent about the head not fitting the movie line, but was thinking, other than scratchbuilding something, there isn't really anyone I can think of from the movie line to build a MM head from. They'd all look very out of place on this mold, I think prime's head was the most "non-movie" head they made...
