i knew brawl was getting up there but that shadow megatron, holy shit! I can not believe it is going for that much!

I would never sell my Brawl, I got mine off ebay and was a custom and paid maybe 100 bucks back in 07 and was well worth it...

Glad I just paid $30 for one literally a week ago. It has a Desert Brawl gun barrel on it but I can easily paint it :)

Hasbro owns the molds. Period. For molds that are licensed vehicles, they would have to pay a new license fee to reuse it. That gets expensive, and means they're likely not to do it. But they absolutely can if they choose to pay the fee. The reason FunPub won't use these is because it would be too expensive to factor the license fee in to their costs.

Wow. I did a quick search myself and really can't believe it. Especially the Shadow Megatron. Saw it at retail several times and passed. Oh well.
Got DDBrawl for $20 on clearance at Kmart ages back, and a regular one was given to me by a friend getting out of collecting as a 'thank you' for buying some of his other figures (like RotF Bruticus and Superion for $20 total).

Licensing shouldn't be much of a problem for Brawl, as it's not a real tank. It's a movie prop designed to look a lot like an M1 Abrams (a heavily modified one at that) but it's not a real tank design. It's a whole lot further away from a real Abrams, than the Sideways toy is away from a a real Audi R8.

    It's because it's a great mold.

    That's pretty much it.

lol althought that mold of megatron is bad, i find the black repaint more appealing, probably because it has more paint apps and looks bad ass in that scheme.

i sold the original leader a long time ago as i think the voyager from rotf is a better look even with the back kibble. i keep shadow command megs with my black repaints.

Ldr Brawl is worth $75 (shipped) tops, IMO.
    i can't justify a C-Note for him.

he is still, one of tbe best Leader class figures out there.

Well, you have to admit theres a few problems with Brawl. Like how his backpack doesn't plug in, or how his tank turret just hangs there in robot more.
