Actually, there's been a whole lot of Transformers movies on television this weekend. In addition to the original Transformers movie airing on Cartoon Network, tonight is the second time this weekend that the sequel has been on FX. Whole bunch of bad live Transformers movies on tv this weekend. So why do I keep watching???

You'd think it'd be on Nickelodean atleast because Paramount released it.

Nickelodeon used to be cool. Then it took an iCarly to the show list.

That, and also they pretty much took out the cartoons and put in Teenage sitcoms.

I was watching it but turned the channel cause I got sick of seeing that stupid commercial for "Regular Show". Cartoons are so stupid these days.

Yeah, because now it's filled with stupid shows like Victorious, ICarly, Big Time Rush, and how to rock. What happened to the good television people barely deserve in the first place?

Actually, I really like some of the shows they put out now, namely the ones that show on Mondays & Tuesdays on Cartoon Network. But the commercial for that episode was too silly for the mood the movie was setting.

Nickelodeon used to be great until they started to copy Disney with all the teenage sitcoms. This has led to the creation of the worst show I have ever had to sit through in my entire life (Big Time Rush). Cartoon Network may have a few dumb shows, but it has some great ones too. I watch CN way more than Nickelodeon and Disney Channel combined nowadays. The only close contenders are The Hub and Boomerang. I did get annoyed with all the children's commercials and edits during the movie. Why do they even censor it. Most kids who are watching it have probably already seen the movie on DVD and most kids under the age of ten probably have no idea what masturbation is (that scene was cut way too much). I also have no idea why they cut out the part where Mojo pees on Ironhide. I can understand why they cut out the part with Bumblebee peeing as I've always thought that was unnecessary, but FX never edited out Devastator's balls. I still sat through the movie and watched it from beginning to end despite the numerous edits.

FX shows RotF every other day... I'm waiting for DotM to come on constantly, I can sit through that for a good while

Usually movies don't air on cable until two years after their release for whatever reason, so for DOTM, it'll start showing next year.

I miss the days when you switched on to Cartoon Network or the like and Beast Machines was playing. Those were the days before those damn sitcoms came and ruined family television.

Really did find TFTM more enjoyable than ROTF, and on par with DOTM. ROTF I watched half-heartedly simply for the special effects (which were decent; didn't remember the forest battle being so brutal but was nice seeing it again).

That said (on going on a tangent), Regular Show is actually fairly funny in an adult subversive way. Ditto with Adventure Time (I was really pleasantly surprised with that show and is one I put on consistently when I get home from work). Aside from those two, Thundercats and Young Justice are my guilty pleasures too.
