So I just finished this guy, my first repaint in a while, and my 2nd Skywarp TFTM repaint! (other Skywarp in pictures, a Dreadwing repaint from the original, not the new official black repaint).

I tried flat black instead of the usual gloss black I use, and this weird purple that was hard to apply evenly but I am happy with the result. I didn't get paint on the face at all so the only messy areas are around hinges due to transforming him, other than some unevenness here and there. I like the purple on the sword a lot and how it attaches to the jet mode.

    Another Skywarp for the collection!

(oh, and regarding the autobot insignias, I'll likely be adding g1 style decepticon stickers of appropriate size over them including inside the energon thingie, and I think I'll be painting the cockpit gray).

That's pretty cool!! I have never thought of using that mold as a decepticon seeker!!! What about the Thundercracker and Starscream? ;)

A little of paint 'mashing' from transforming, namely on the knee area and the swivel part of the claw thingies. Not too bad though.
