    Hey Gang!

First, let me apologize for not having posted recently, been really sick with a bad bug thats been goin' around but I'm feeling substantially better now so things should get back to normal!

So, quite sometime ago, while searching thru TFTM Arcee ref. pics, I came across a sweet digibash or Arcee's face that made her look waaaaay better than the toy's stock version. I can't rightly remember the artist's name who did this nice bit of work but if anyone knows who it is, please let me know so I can give him/her proper credit for this inspired re-sculpt? Thanks!! Well, it inspired me to do a re-sculpt of her stock face ( could it even be called a face?? ) to more closely resemble that which was in the digibash.

Ok, so just a basic summary, Eye outline, chin & nose-tip done using Apoxie-sculpt. Lips done using green sculptors wax. Eyes were reshaped using Apoxie sculpt which was then smoothed out using 1200 grit sanding foam in prep for clear-casting. Eye LED provided by surplus Walmart christmas tree lighting! :thumb

Hope you guys think she looks a bit better now!

    ~Cheers!

Maybe it's because it's three years old, but I really have no problems with the original head, so I don't see this new head as a radical improvement.

However, your sculpting skill is amazing. The sharp lines, even texture and flat plains are very impressive.

it's a great sculpt, but maybe the eyes should be a titchy bit smaller and the upper lip a little more pronounced

Nice, but I can't stop looking at this and seeing a robotic version of Nicholas Cage.

Dude. You got some serious sculpting skills. The head looks like you printed it.

Personally I think the big eyes make her more female and friendly.

My wife saw the comparisson shot and pointed to the stock head and said: "Oh, my god. What did he do to that head?" :D

    man
u beat me, i was trying my shot at thos as well :)

i think its amazing and your sculpting skills r off the scale
    two minor issues

i think that the eyes supposed to b a bit mor angled to mkae her more feminine
and u should make the lips more full ,especially the lower one

i thin that this digibash was in the jizzatoys site

when can we purchase your amazing work ? still wating for sideswipe

    Amazing sculpting detail! :thumb

Bring the chin out slightly, sharpen the definition of the nose (bridge & apex) & re-define the lips (top should be bigger & bottom should be smaller)-- but this is already an AMAZING improvement over her beak.

    Looking forward to your progress...

Damn that thing is beautiful compared to the original. I would buy that in a heartbeat if I was more into the movie toys. I personally just think the bike mode is waaaay out of scale to fit with the rest of the figures. I would love to see more movie re-sculpted heads like what you've done here. You just made her like more like a Transformer (humanoid robotic) instead of bayformer (robots mixed with insects)

I think the main nic cagey thing is the nose. If it's slightly more petite it'll do. The eyes are fine in my opinion. Not too big nor too slanted, it's just right.

As everyone said before, your sculpting skills are amazing. I owe the figure and I can attest how small and minute the head is. Wonderful!

If you cast it I'd love to get a copy, I could then use it with the regular TF's rather than in a box in my closet.

Hey man, I've been checking that face out a bit, and I've got some recommendations, if you want them: In order to get it closer to the digibash, I'd take a bit off the bottom of the lower lip, and cut the edges on the eyes more sharply; you've got them too wide open right now, they don't have that feminine aspect to them. The nose if perfect, though. :)

A truly beautiful piece of sculpting! I love it - exactly what the original toy should have looked like. If you decide to cast this, I'll definitely join the lineup to buy one. Really, you should look into it - any other planned sculpting projects?
