What surprises me more is that it wasn't even in their plans for the future. They showed a lot of potential Beast Wars ideas recently and Silverbolt and Quickstrike were nowhere to be seen.

But that's why I'm glad I made my own last year :p

Call them directly. I know they give it a few days to try again, but today might've been the deadline. They're out of the office until Monday.

So my figure turned up today.

One of the cards totally bent by being put on top of the weapons, the others were fine though. All weapons and accessories accounted for.

I ended up liking Fractyl a lot more than I thought I would.

The thing that annoyed me is that the Round Subscription Service Stickers that the Club puts on the outside of the box, were all slit in half, and then another round clear sticker put on top. This is the first time this has happened.

    Were anyone else's sickest slit?

I would not hate that. I'm pretty much up for anything except a Seeker or Conehead in their G1 deco - I wouldn't want just one of them . . .

Sounds like a Customs Inspection. I'm also curious to hear if others have this experience.

They normally label it as being opened, plus the UK customs folk wouldn't put a clear round sticker back on top of the existing ones.

Would the timing of the mystery figure lineup that they could use something like UW Blast-Off or Strafe?

If one assumes that they didn't plan the identity of the mystery figure at the same time as when they did the others in that subscription service, I suppose it would be possible.

But I feel pretty sure we've seen information suggesting that they plan it all at the same time, even though I can't lay my hands on that right off the top of my head.

If what we've learned from petes robot con has always been accurate, the whole set is done at once, then sent for approval and modifications happen, so most likely it's not Blast Off, which is fine by me. I'm still hoping for Punch... just want it to show up already, especially the parts I don't want so I can sell them.

BotCon 2016, TFSS 4.0, and 5.0 were both being planned and approved around the time of BotCon 2015. Unite Warriors Strafe and Blast Off were not known at the time, and wouldn't have been things Hasbro told Fun Pub about.

They probably wouldn't have made the comments about the figure having a head not used by Hasbro before if it were an entire figure not used by Hasbro before.

I kinda wish it *was* Punch. Just so Wreckage could have Punch/Counterpunch as arms like Love/Hate knuckle tats.

(Presumably some 3P could make Love/Hate knucks)

I know TFW isn't a fan of Seibertron, but this seems like important TFSS news for people who may have had BBTS preorders...

    BBTS Modifying Preorders

Apparently if you've pre-ordered any of the figures BBTS is going to start doubling the price automatically and selling you *both* figures that shipped.

I'm not sure how they plan to *fill* these orders considering someone who ordered Fractyl may not have ordered Lifeline (and vice versa). But you've got until April 17th apparently to cancel your pre-orders if you don't want to get stuck with a bunch of figures you don't want.

Had a feeling they would do something like this. It's not really bbts's fault as they had to make a choice and there was no possible way to make everyone happy.

Just a heads up though, there's only 11 sets remaining.

Yeah, BBTS was solicited them as individuals, so it sucks that the club changed it on them. I still would've take them out of the boxes, and cut the foam, that's what I did for Lifeline. But that's a ton more work. I do worry about the people who decide to cancel, but that means BBTS might just be stuck with more figures and prices could actually increase for people like me who are selling off pieces individually. Guess we'll see who gets paired together in the next shipment, though I bet Joel and Brian have talked and Joel already knows who's shipping next in order to prepare his listings to be updated...
