Ah, thanks. I see they said the order of release is TBD, but when do these actually start to release? June? Do sites like BBTS usually offer some of these figures for pre-order as well?
Alright, a couple of dumb questions (forgive me; this is my first time subscribing. Be gentle! ;-)) 1. How soon after I subscribe does the first payment get charged? I read somewhere that it was two days or so, but I don't remember if that was after subscribing or after the sub period ends. 2. When do the shipping payments come out? Is it before each shipment, or with each installment?
BBTS will offer up pre-orders on all of them - probably in the next week or so. They'll do variable pricing based on perceived levels of interest. That is, the two Pretenders will probably be the most expensive and Toxitron probably next, followed by Lifeline, then the last two limbs (just a guess). ETA: I should also note that BBTS will change the pricing as people start pre-ordering. If Lifeline becomes more popular than they assume, they'll raise the price (but not charge more on your pre-order if you got it in earlier). Also, if there's a lot of interest and BBTS finds it profitable, they'll start ordering more subscriptions, so if a pre-order is sold out one day, it may open up later (also if people drop their pre-orders) 1. I believe the first one gets charged immediately - I did full payment and it's already on my card. 2. If (and this is a big-ish if) everything goes to plan, they'll charge the second installment after the second figure is shipped out and the third installment after the fourth figure. If they have to combine shipping, I'm sure they'll be an announcement. Either way, the second installment will not be for a few months
I just noticed... "Scorponon"? Then he's called Scorponok elsewhere. I hope that's a typo. Also, the function looks like it belongs to Fractyl, while the motto looks like it belongs to Scorponok.
We've never seen an alternate head for Rook. I do also wonder if FunPub might know of an alternate head on Groove seeing as they did get the drill on Brawl before either of Habro's uses were even leaked. On that note Brawl himself MIGHT also have an alternate head unless he only featured an alternate weapon thoug said alternate head might belong to a Breast Force member.
Counterpunch feels a little like a cop-out to me. How can you have Counterpunch with no Punch? It says former double agent... Basically, they used a mold that doesn't allow for an alternate bot mode. Why?
Nice list! I hope it's a CW figure, but who knows? I doubt they'd use a TFP mold, but anything goes. It'd say either of the first two or one we haven't seen yet. The Nightbird version of Arcee is possible since they're already using that mold (the girls could ship together at the end) but who could she be other than Nightbird?
Well, it's still not working for me. I've tried it several times yesterday and today. Every time I try to log in it just stays on/reloads the same page. My membership was valid past the March 16th deadline. I've tried it on multiple browsers, cleared cookies, etc. It just doesn't want to work for me.
Just placed my order. Lifeline, Megatron, Optimus and Toxitron are the standouts from this set for me.
Hasbro and Takara made a Counterpunch head tooling for the mold, not a Punch one Either way his Punch mode is the arm mode
Could the Counterpunch head work for the TFCC Punch/Counterpunch figure (the one with the small head)? I'm guessing not...
Others have already addressed most of this, but to really emphasize the important point. When FunPub gets their order from the factory, they'll get ALL of the toys for 5.0 at once. So long as THEY get the toys by the end of the year, we will, even if they have to ship us ALL SEVEN at once (which is a rather unlikely worst case scenario. More likely, they'll just ship each separately with a small wait between shipments).
