I know there was a problem years ago with Tfsource getting hacked and people getting their credit card info stolen. Looks to be happening again as I just got a new card and used it on their site, next thing I know a ton of charges popped up that I didn’t make. It’s the only place I have used the card so far. Just figured I’d throw a warning up for you guys.

I changed my form of payment to Paypal a few months ago, so hopefully, I avoided the card hack.

I had the same thing happen when I put a card # on their site recently - this actually helps. Thanks for the post. To bad... they have a few things I'd like right now.

Thanks for the heads up! Just deleted my card, only have PayPal now with them.

 

I just sent them a message about a potential hole in their security. Hopefully, that might help. Them address the problem.

 

I’ve never stored any billing info with them and only use them when literally no one else has a given item in stock.

There are too many good vendors out there for me to risk doing business with them unless I absolutely have to. It’s ridiculous that this is still a problem for them after all these years.

 

I think I’m going to do a one-time payment on my Ploenix, (might even cancel it knowing I’ll never get another shot at it) and move on from TFSource. I am not risking my card getting stolen.

 

Never ever store a card on tfsource. They know damn well they aren't secure and do nothing to correct it. It has gone on for years and they still do not care. Multiple facebook groups i am on have tons of these card issues recently again. If you have to use tfsource, use paypal. Personally, any company that cares that little about their customers shouldn't get our money anyway. Tfsource can eat a bag of dicks.

Just now seeing this thread. Deleted my card, too, and I hope it’s not too late either.

 

I just checked my acct there and don't have any address or payment method on file. So other than what i bought previously of orders there isn't anything on file. I don't use them much at all but only if they are my last resort to get something. My optimal optimus came from them well the orange version I'm talking about i got.

 

Nothing weird on my card, but I deleted is all the same. Glad TFsource was my plan B after BBTS.

How are people deleting their card info on file? I can only find an option to change the payment method.

 

I was hit a few days after Black Friday, had 4 weird charges (two 15 dollars one than a $50 and $100) overnight before my bank shutdown my card.

 

Those that got hit - did you recently add cards before your purchase, or was your card on file for awhile before that?

 

I never store my CC info on any of these sites. I use PayPal only .

 

I didn’t have anything odd on my last statement, so I’m thinking I might be okay.
