Why are you flailing around a $100 toy with $50 in accessories attached?

Same reason I let my 1 1/2 yr old son play with Ultimate Bumblebee, because it's still just a toy, and ment to be played with.

Where I do mostly agree with you about them being toys, I do have to disagree a little about MP Megatron. As with MP SS, I think the MPs were designed more as adult collectors items with the idea that they wouldn't be transformed often.

I don't have a kid myself, but I know plenty of people that do, and I've observed toys kid kids over the years. MP megatron does not fall into the "toys for a child who isn't even 2 yet" category. It was never designed with the idea in mind that an 18 month old would be playing with it, and to do so is well, idiotic. It's your kid, so you can let him play with whatever you want, and it's your mp megatron, so I can't stop you. BUt I can tell you that it's pretty damn silly to expect it to not get damaged, or that they would have designed it in such a manner.

As far as UBB is concerned, it actually is marketed as a toy for children, not a collectors item to sit on a shelf and designed as such.

    I knew this would happen...

I do not actually pick up my $100 toys and flail them around. I was adding color to my language. The point I was trying to make is that the barrel attachment is fragile already, without an extra added accessory. With the silencer, I can foresee many things can break the barrel, such as picking the gun up too fast. Considering how flimsy the barrel is as-is, I can foresee a lot of MP-05s getting deformed simply from being displayed in gun mode with the silencer.

In other threads, I say that MP-05 and an egg would have about an equal chance to survive being thrown against a brick wall. Again, I am simply trying to make a point about the fragility of MP-05. I do not actually hurl my toys against brick walls.

I keep hearing about these fragile mp-05's that break if you transform them in less than 10 minutes, fall over at the slightest breeze, and shatter if you look at them wrong. I must have super-megs then. About the only flimsy thing on him is the joints for the shoulder and hip pieces(not a big deal), and the rear piece that holds the rails that go underneath the the body of the gun in alt mode(again, not a big deal since they snap right back on).

The replacement parts on Megatrons legs which is needed to secure the handle extensions are die-cast! Yes, the MP-05 Upgrade Kit for JustiToys have included replacement die-cast parts for Megatrons legs.

Not only are the replacement grips metal(and heavy too), but the post on the shoulder part of the stock itself is also metal. This thing has some serious weight to it.

Oh, and it came with a handful of plastic pellets and can shoot them.

got mine today, its pretty cool, however I am a tad upset that the box was damaged and not in very good shape. THis happened with my Justitoys Prime trailer as well. It had nothing to do with shipping because Tfsoucres packaging was beyond outstanding for this and my M P Skywarp. Still pretty awesome set!
