    Hey all,

Just a heads-up before TFSource's next news post on the front page, I'm really excited and happy to announce that in addition to what I write for TF-1, I am once again contributing articles to TFSource.com which will be posted directly to http://TFSource.com/blog

The first article is "Japanese Transformers 1985 - 1987" with the next two pieces already written and ready to go live roughly weekly or bi-weekly, we'll see how it goes and adjust accordingly.

Initially the plan is to post more overview type articles, and then go more in depth when a few categories have been established.

Hope you enjoy the articles and thanks to Curt for his support :)

    All the best
    Maz

Yeah that's certainly one of the most interesting of the Japanese car variants. I always found the different rubsign placement on Meister, Prowl and Ligier interesting as well. Plus it's great to have something on vintage Japanese toys to distinguish them from US/Euro counterparts to spot when a seller has pulled a fast one...

Thanks for your unending support, buddy :thumb

That photo of the blue "Autobot" Bumblebee is simply excellent. There are so many neat things about this article, yet it's obvious that it's just skimming the surface for an overview. Excellent work again, my friend :thumb

Wow, that is a great read! I really like the approach of these where it's enough to be a general overview, but there's plenty for knowledgeable collectors as well. Those Mexican Seekers always look so cool . . . .

    :)

Just in time for Halloween even! Gears is all set in his G1 Swerve costume, too! I hope they get lotsa candy!

I think Grapple is going as Michael Myers this year. Grapple can officially say, "Trick or Treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!" Hopefully, the person doesn't flop over from lead poisoning.

The photos alone make it worth the read!

The article is a great read, too, though :)  I really enjoy it, as with all of the past contributions!

Great read as always! The fun is in the details :)

One thing I'd love to see is some high res scans (or some nice res photos) of just all of the Diaclone box artwork. /humble request

I'd love to oblige, but I don't really own a lot of Japanese Diaclone these days. I would only be able to scan the 2nd Trainbots and Powered Convoy.
