OK I just ordered the "Snowman" Version Superion Aerial Appendage kit. From the item description: "Limit of 2 pieces per customer, this set will also include some other holiday bells and whistles that will not be revealed until it ships." I'm wondering surprise will be. I hope it will not disappoint fot that extra $5 they are asking.
Glad I waited till the clearance to decide that I "needed" superion, and that I have been too lazy to order the upgrade till this point. Had to do some side-by-side comparisons and this edition seems to pop a little more to the eye. Hope I am right, but based on what I have heard about how great the original set is, Im sure I won't be too disapointed. Wonder how goofy the extras are going to be.
....and whatever happened to the two WSTs that were supposed to arrive, back in October? Inexplicably delayed?
The white seems to go much better with the ROTF Superion than the gray did. But the Energon version seems to fit the original release. I certainly wasn't expecting it. I hope this doesn't push back the Rodimus addon though.
I noticed the same. must be the recession closing some wallets or something. If I remember right they had a ton of last years stocking stuffers that they were selling on ebay. Still it's a nice incentive to keep shopping at TFSource.
The add on set is neat, however one is enough really. The white is too white, although G1 Supeions parts were white. Im sure I will pass. This doesn't seem to have the broad appeal like the WST dinobots in the past did. Not everyone has the toys this set adds on to.
