Have any of you bought any Transformers for a terrible price? By terrible price, I mean over-priced.

My FP Bruiticus ended up with a price tag of $250. That's about as much as I would want to spend on it as well, so almost.

    $30 for generations warpath

    $30 for animated rodimus

only times i overpaid, second time was because i couldn't get anyone's help to find them, TRU is just so far away and i didn't want to miss him and ironhide, hell ironhide cost me $25. I still say that request for help thread in the junkion exchange was useless, when people after me were getting help and a lot of us were ignored

I feel bad for you since I've seen Animated Rodimus warming shelves for under 10 bucks.
For me the ROTF Bruticus Maximus and Superion, i spent about 120 for those two figures since I never picked up any gestalt type bots up until that point and upon getting them was really disappointed by the quality and the fact that they each had only two unique molds for limbs just using recolors.

The most expensive single figure I own cost me about $150 total.. that's Magnus + City Commander. Obviously Herc tops that, but it's six separate figures.

I will probably top that with Cyclops and/or Hexatron.. and I might break down and get MP-10 at some point.. but right now.. not too bad.

What really disturbs me is the number of expensive figures I have (I'm 600 miles away from my collection, but off the top of my head I know I have at least ten figures that cost right around $100) rather than the price of the most expensive one. But honestly I don't think I paid too much for 'em. I'm pretty good at walking away from something if I don't like the price.. I've walked away from trades over five bucks and I'm sure the other guy was mad but that's life.

Also I assume we're talking about monetary cost. The time I got raped over a DOTM Space Case was the most costly to my self esteem.

I don't remember how much I paid for my Ratchet (classics), but I do know it was pretty damn steep...

As I recall Sunstreaker and Sideswipe each cost a pretty penny.

    hhhhmmm.....

V1 Masterpiece Rodimus. Of course, I sold it because of some financial trouble I had before the HUGE drop.

    209-130? Talk about a drop

I bought a Deluxe Topspin at Giant for $15, which was a bit overpriced. The only reason I bought him was because I had been looking for that figure everywhere for a while, and I was a little desperate for one...

$180 for the Beast Wars Metals VS-40 boxset off of eBay. A lot of money, but it was worth it to own a TM Megatron that doesn't have BPS.

Paid 80 bucks for a KO of Fansproject Cliffjumper upgrade. Looks close enough to the real thing, but there are places that shows it's a KO. Still not a bad trade off for paying 300-400 for the real deal.

USD$84 for TFU Laser Optimus Prime. Overpriced for a deluxe figure. But I can't find it elsewhere. Also didn't like the color scheme on the hasbro version

Does spending $5 for Armada Laserbeak count? :lol

    Kidding, he's kinda worth $5.

Seriously, though, I spent about $17 for RTS Optimus Prime. Do I regret it? No, as I still love the toy and am happy to have had it for this long vs waiting for the one I eventually found at TJ Maxx not too long ago. But it was expensive.

Yeah, I don't spend a lot of money :lol .

Every single one. Not counting the ones I bought online, of course. Bumblebee765, $15 Topspin? Try $30. Fuckin' Australia...
