I was at the TS TRU here in New York and finally got to see a number of movieformers I hadnt seen in person. I didnt think Offroad Ironhide would look good but his color scheme isnt bad at all. And Desert Brawl looks great too. Anyone else been pleasantly surprised by one TF or another that looked bland in photos?

I just bought a armada sideways. It's much better in person. I thought the purple was more pink before and that the horns were silly, that's why I passed the first time. But really it's a decent purple motorcycle former, the horns are ajustable thankfully. With a bonus of the greatest minicon combiner in armada as his driver.

I still can't motivate myself to get the Movie Starscream mold though.

i did not open my concept camaro bb and got cliffjumper to open months later…first off the plastic shoulder pad things fell off non stop…and his left arm was too big for the ball joint. i cease to like that mold now. :lol

UltraD - My CJ is sturdy, I guess it just cuts that way with contemporary, ball-joint deluxes.

I've had similar probs with my Landmine (which forbid him from this list), while other members have told me theirs is good as pie.

I'd put Classics Mirage in here, too, but I always thought he was going to rock.

Thats exactly what I thought of when I saw this thread. MP-Megatron is AWESOME in person. The "chicken" legs dissapear when you are holding it in your hands.

I hated Payload until I got him...He's actually pretty awesome, especially if you mod him a little...

And Premium Leader Megatron... He's uninspiring until you see him in person and he actually looks kinda SCARY...

was going to buy it anyway since I just want to finish off the series and be done with it. And the rusty paint looks odd in photos.

Scary though? now I have to have it.
