I was wondering why TFPs creator and design team did not put Silas into his own invention nemesis prime but instead be put in breakdown?

The military had Nemesis Prime put into storage. They say so in the episode where Fowler is being debriefed by General Bryce. Bigger question is how MECH recovered Silas before the US Military salvaged Nemesis. He was literally CRUSHED under it.

Because in-universe, they didn't have the resources to make another Nemesis Prime and also because Breakdown's body was functioning as life support, meaning they didn't have time to build another Nemesis Prime.

I mean, when Silas wakes up as Breakdown, all MECH has left is like, six dudes and a warehouse with a hole in it, all of which he destroys.

Plus, Nemesis Prime was kind of stupid anyway.

i dont know folks i kinda like the idea of mech having a extra nemesis prime on standby(the idea being they were intending to mass produce the model at the time and had a second one available to build silas into

add in a cube of dark energon and boom you got the potential for a serious nightmare scenario

You vastly overestimate the caliber of writing on Prime.

Because the writers weren't that good at all. Sure, having Nemesis Prime come back as a Silas-cyborg thing (but no dark energon, because they actually kind of did that in the Thirst episode and it caused him to turn into a zombie so no, that isn't going to work) later on would have been cool...but they literally just threw Silas away in the Human Factor episode.

whats to say that one could not use dark energon asa means by which to contact unicron itself (the idea being that silas whiel in nemesis priems body would strike a unholy bargain wiht the devil to be remade fully into a proper living cybertronian (albut one enhanced by the dark energon , not devolved by it into a mindless undead creature,

in this regard silas could easily hold his own in a fight agiainst the autobotsand develop into a proper rival against the cons as well long term story wise

Because Breakdown was a living thing while Nemesis Prime was not.

Sticking Silas in a dead transformer is more macabre than just putting him in a machine. I think the idea was to make him an abomination that neither humans of Cybertronians would really accept.

would have been better storyline if the dark energon element had been exploited such that silas had used it as a way to work a faustian deal with unicron to be remade in a living being that is fully cybertronian on the outside in outward appearance( but actually has the mind and soul of a undead human bonded to that body)

basically silas becoming a transformers prime version of this guy
