    Also, what kind of brush to get into that small eye space?

    I quite like this approach. Makes him gel better with the other Prime figures given that he hasn't got the hardcore shading some people are doing (though those still look amazing).

    This is GREAT! This is something Hasbro could've done with him, not silver, just grey paint or cast him in grey plastic. Would've been a little better than the tan one we got.:thumb

    Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

    Tamiya Gloss Aluminum, Krylon Purple and some heavy Flat topcoat.

    I took the head apart to get at the eyes, but it was just a normal, tiny brush. If I had taken the time I could've painted his iris too but I got lazy. >.>;

    I used Tamiya Gloss Aluminium as well on mine, haha.. except i didn't apply the flat coating. Also, i had to improvise since they didn't have any metallic purples available in the stores here, so i used Tamiya Metallic Blue and Clear red to get the shiny purple cannon. Should be uploading my pics soon.

    I didn't use a metallic purple myself because honestly it seemed unnecessary. I've never really been a fan of high gloss/metallic/shiny finishes but I don't see how they'd even apply for a screen-accurate Megatron in this case.

    As always, thanks for the continued compliments everyone.

    Hasbro, THIS is how it's suppose to be done.

    I really love the "factory finish". yes, the shading/drybrushing is awesome. but for someone who cannot afford the time and money to customize his figures (ehem... me), this works.

    awesome job Zyros!!! and to see that you're humbled by the tonnes of compliments, that's just way subzero cool! GREAT JOB!
