Anyone recognise the growl from the Insection? Sounded a bit like the T-Rex growl from Jurassic Park.
Ok great, I don't disagree with you. On the flip side though, if Knock Out had seen Breakdown as just another Decepticon brute, why wouldn't he have expressed the same discomfort about working with him as he does with the insecticon? If the argument is that the insecticon is a whole lot bigger than Breakdown was and therefore scarier, Knock Out is a small guy. It doesn't take that much more muscle to be dangerous to him.
G1 Optimus prime liked sports so it's only prime prime that doesn't know what fun is. G1 Prime also hated loud pop music.
Even in his cool way he still misses his Breakdown. Awwwww. Plus, his expression at the end of the clip is amazing! XD
Perhaps it had something to do with the fact Breakdown wasn't very smart and Knock Out learned it was easy to push him around? Just a thought I had. And I'm not putting Breakdown down for not being smart. That's what endeared me to him. I found him sweet in a way and had a soft spot for him. I'm on the fence about whether Knock Out cared for Breakdown. I know Knock Out mostly cares about himself. But in Flying Mind when the ship brought Megatron to his knees in the beginning Knock Out seemed concerned. Even going as far as to put his hand on Megatron's shoulder. I have to see more Knock Out in future episodes to really make up my mind.
Breakdown was a fellow Cybertronian. Insecticons are feral beasts. It's like you working with a muscular human, or a bear. Doesn't matter about muscle, it's just that one may eat you.
Insecticons are "vermin," as Arcee put it. Knock Out is revolted by the Insecticon. Imagine you, as a human, were sent on a mission. And your commanding officer partnered you with a 7 foot tall cockroach. How comfortable would you be with that? Not very, would be my guess.

Admittedly I got more excited than I should have when Megatron said that Knockout has been vunerable without Breakdown and needed a suitable partner. Is it wrong that I giddily expected someone other than Insecticon? Granted, KO's reaction was priceless, but I really wanted a new character. I know... I know... it's about the character arcs and story and not new characters, but dag blasted already- it's about time we get someone new, someone who isn't an army builder mindless automaton like Insecticon, and someone(s) who matter to continuity! IDK... I'd be fine with it.
