Bought the Takara Skywarp and loved everything except how the stickers didn't fit quite right. So I decided to paint the details instead. I also painted all the purplish plastic a metallic color very similar to the stickers. Gave the micron a metallic finish. Also to make him look a little more different I gave him a new crest from some random Gundam figure I found in my junk box.

Wow! The paint makes I look so good! And I like the new crest! Really helps to differentiate him from 'screamer! :D

Looks like a repaint from an official Skywarp mold. This is great!

it would be super easy for someone in shapeways make new crest i think as all you do is take the head a part and take out the crest and place a new one in.

i would totally love one of these crest to seperate them.

Yeah it might be. The thing is the crest fits thru the slot in the front, so anything wider wouldn't fit. To do a crest like mine it would have to be a two piece with the crest plugging in to a base, but there isn't much room to work with.

The only thing that bugs me is the the spikes on his head. The seem kind of odd. Other than that, very nice.
