Let's review what seems to be happening.

Most of, if not the whole Insecticon Hive is destroyed in Hurt.
A new Autobot is set to appear (maybe), along with the possibility of Shockwave and a clone of Cliffjumper.
Another color to add to the Energon Rainbooooooow!
And now Silas is back.

This episode has got me excited. I hope that Silas comes in Breakdown's body to meet Megatron.
Now that I think about it, I would love to see a deal be made between the two, then have Silas break it, the Decepticons steal Breakdown's body and have him infused with Dark Energon. I think it could be an interesting twist.

 

Damn. Color me interested...

 

We finally get to see Silasbot! Im looking forward to this!

Very cool. Season 2 seems to be shaping up very well.

 

I bet that Bulkhead kills Silasdown,and have MECH being part of The Decepticons.

 

Maybe Silas gets offed and Breakdown's still alive? That would be cool because I want to know about his and Bulk's past and it not be like with Cliff and Arcee with him being gone by the time we find out.

personally, I think it will be Breakdown's voice we hear, but Silas in control. I mean, the way they talked about how injured Silas was makes me think he'll probably be paralyzed or something. So unable to speak or move himself, but able to somehow control Breakdown's body with his mind.

Thus, he'll probably be acting/pretending to be Breakdown. Otherwise, why would Silas admit to being himself to the Decepticons, when he's in such a 'fragile'/injured state? He wouldn't expose a weakness like that.

In anyyy case ... i can't wait to see a Silas vs Megatron smackdown! pleeease pretty please!

YES and YES!!! would love to see both these situations.

 

Oh that's right. There's still actually an interesting storyline going on. Most episodes I'm going to watch the way I watched Toxicity. When I feel bored. I might actually watch this episode the day it airs.

Also, considering Nemesis Prime was seven episodes before the mid series break and this happens four episodes after the beak, It seems they were wrong when they said that MECH would return halfway through the season in a big way.

 

ok so im confused I got the transformers collectors club book and one japanese guy was talking about how hasbro only has plans for toy releases of characters in the show....
im going to make a little list here of ALL CURRENT tf prime stuff i have seen and have.
Breakdown: definately in the show but no toy for the US
Unicron: Definately in the show but no toy for the US
vehicon: cant find that anywere at all
Jet Vehicon: definately in the show but no toy for the US
Deadend: not in the show but a toy for the us
Ironhide: not in the show but a toy for the us
Flamewar: not in the show but a toy for the us
Hotshot: not in the show but a toy for the us
Shadow striker bumblebee: not in the show but a toy for the us


im a little curious at to why this guy would say that hasbro only has plans to make the characters that appean in the show when there are so many already that are not and will never be in the show at all

Well...if TFP Megs holds his usual intolerance against humans--as implied by Starscream, then Silas probably won't get very far....unless Megs thinks it will HELP him in some way...either way, in the end, Silas is a goner....or bits of him could be. Just can't see Megatron liking a techno-organic in any shape or form.

Just have to wait and see how the TFP gang write this one to play out.

 

I....do not find the sila's storyline to be interesting at all. But at least it's not Miko driven.

 

I was wondering the same thing; he seemed to have a hard enough time keeping a lid on his feelings/intentions when Megatron ordered him to repair Soundwave's faceplate in the last few episodes. So when he sees his old partner Breakdown mutilated or enslaved to a human - if that's how this episode or one thereafter plays out - well, we'll see.  

If memory serves, Ratchet did say something about even Megatron not being a ghoul, so there are (probably) lines they won't cross and hence things that would push the buttons of some Decepticons.

 

I am very excited about this episode!!!   I am very curious to see how things turn out!  

 

Looks like things will be coming to a head by the end of the season between Starscream, Shockwave & the red energon on one hand and the Decepticons & whatever arrangements they organize with Silas/MECH on the other

The only thing I could see Silas doing with the forge would be to use it as a bargaining chip with the Autobots for the SynthEn formula or something like that

 

Megatron said that they were "unable to locate Breakdown's signal" not that his signal "went offline" like Ratchet said when Cliffjumper died. Remember that Ratchet was unable to locate the Autobots' signals and Soundwave was unable to locate Megatron's signal when they were in Unicron's spark chamber, and Ratchet was unable to locate Orion/Optimus' signal when he was on the Nemesis. MECH could very easily have some type of signal jammer.

You have to actually be dead to be considered "killed off". There is no evidence that Breakdown actually died. His body was in pieces, but his chest wasn't really damaged.
