    Regarding the main rumor, I'd say it's either
    Wheeljack or perhaps Ironhide (who would be revealed to have been on Earth before)
    .

    Since the description also mentions
    a new Decepticon
    , it might mean
    this could be the beginning of Dreadwing's story arc
    .

    ''Legendary'' means someone powerful, someone ancient and well known. I hardly think Wheeljack is considered legendary. It could be Sentinel Prime. Because he is legendary and Optimus thinks something isn't right. Sentinel is an asshole so it makes sense. My bet is on Sentinel

    While it's true that Sentinel is legendary, I don't think a single episode would be enough for a character like him going through the situation this episode entails. Granted, though, there were some episodes in Season One that weren't "(title here), Parts 1 & 2" that were two-part stories. So I suppose it's as possible as any other guesses right now.

    I bet the bot whether it's Ironhide or Wheeljack is messed up due to the Quints experimenting on him. Also didn't the writers at one of the cons say a new Autobot would lead during the whole Orion Pax/Optimus issue? Would make sense for this to be Ironhide. And the title Loose Cannons is probably referring to the bot and con who show up.

    Ehhhhhh... dunno why people are taking the phrase "Loose Cannons" so literally. By that logic, I could just as easily say that it's Warpath.

    You guys do realize that Optimus was referred to as such in the "Orion Pax" descriptions, right? >.>

    Yeah. An this only reinforces my stance. I really doubt they'll have a retuning (new?) Autobot, a new Decepticon, AND the Orion Pax storyline all in one episode. Besides, why would Orion specifically have doubts about this Autobot when he's kinda already having doubts about everything else right now? Plus, the whole Orion Pax storyline isn't mentioned anywhere in this description. I know these descriptions usually aren't all that enlightening, but I personally figure a storyline as big as the Orion Pax one would at least be mentioned.

    Ah yes "returns" I doubt it's Wheeljack because they've done that whole plot before. If it is him then this will be the weakest episode yet.

    It could be someone new because for all we know there were bots on Earth before the series began.

    and the new Con could be like
    Mirage
    or
    Blurr
    or something.

    That or they could pull a Depth Charge VS Rampage on us. :rolleyes2

    Well we can tell Project Iacon failed by the fact that non of the synopsis talk about it. So that isn't a continuing thing it seems. And if it is, it isn't very important. This finally confirms
    That Optimus will get his memories back. So that isn't the plot (I will hold out hope that either is a mistake or he takes on the name Optimus without Prim.)
    This series sounds more and more disappointing every day.
    With no plot
    this series will continue being episodic with
    no objective.
    So if everything continues how it sounds like it will, Operation Bumblebee had better end with Bumblebee being killed by Starscream because I will not be a hard core fan of a show that has every episode end in
    Decepticon defeat.
    I guess I can do is hope that
    Optimus is either a mistake or he takes on the name Optimus without Prime.

    Also, considering
    what was shown on that screen when Optimus Googled himself in Orion Pax 2.
    , I think they new Bot will be
    Ultra Magnus.
