Through a convoluted series of non-canon events, TFP Optimus is now engaged in a bloody death battle with Movie Optimus! No quarter given, none received! Only one may leave standing, while the other lies beaten and broken. Who walks, and who dies? Is it TFP Optimus, the seemingly superhuman lead of TFP; strong, skilled, intelligent and gifted with an innate creativity for using with his vehicle mode in combat? Or is it Movie Optimus, who has a Doctorate in Murder from Mortal Kombat University, carries an entire trailerload of weapons with him and who once ripped the face off a dark god like it was nothing? Let the battle begin!
I'm agreeing with Mechafire here. Give Movie Optimus a reason to go after you, and he'll make TFP Optimus's rampage in "One Shall Fall" look like a childish temper tantrum, and he will not stop until you and all your followers are dead. Just ask the long list of folks who've pissed him off. Edit: Oh, and I'm agreeing with eagc7 too.
TFP. Seems more durable while having the skills of movie Optimus. Not to mention his feats of strength seem more impressive.
Psycho Prime-- Err Movie Optimus Prime. He's got swords, hooks, an axe, a shield, guns, and a trailer full of weapons that's also a jetpack and a kill 'em all first attitude. Optimus Prime from Prime has a smaller arsonal, no flight capablities, and only kills as a last resort.
Movie Optimus Prime rules all. He's a killer, a stone cold killer. He's that take charge kind of guy. A viking, barbarian.
The Autobot with the single highest kill count of any individual in the movies verses the dude who got downed by a tree? Tough call. He didn't lose. He was so unimpressed by the 'Cons he decided to take a nap.
Here's how the fight goes: TFP Optimus: *holds up his hands in non-threatening manner* "We need not fight eac- OH, PRIMUS, THE PAIN!" Movie Optimus: "Murder! Murder! Kill kill KIIIILLLLL!!!!" Movie Optimus is a psychotic violence pornstar. He isn't a hero, he's the personification of mega violence. He's a terrible character. TFP Optimus is a powerful warrior, actually a bit too powerful for my tastes, who seeks peace and only uses violence as the last resort. He is what the movie Optimus SHOULD be.
Movie Optimus, no contest. This is how the fight would go: TFP Optimus: "Hello, alternate me. I want to negotiate a tru-" Movie Optimus: "YOU DIE HERE!" Then movie Optimus would proceed to take TFP Optimus' face and cut off his head so it goes rolling off somewhere. If the fight were to take place in a forest, they would both lose, because trees and forests appear to be his weakness now.
Yeah, Movie Optimus, who, as per the WTF@TFW rule, is basically Batman. The only people who mess with him are people even crazier than himself, and that's a scary thought.
That's about right, he's really exactly the Optimus people think of when they think of Optimus. You see... G1 Prime is kind of an idiot. Optimus Primal kinda grew into the whole "Prime" thing RID Prime is, um... generic, I guess? Unicron Trilogy Prime is from the Unicron Trilogy, and therefore must be destroyed. Movie Prime is a 'freakin nutcase Animated Prime was intentionally stupid. Prime Prime (chuckle) is all around awesome, with no obivious flaws. Really, having him be some kind of reluctant level-99-Death-Knight-kind-of-thing allows the writers to have him be part of the story without any worry of him seeming too weak, and avoiding the problem that (literally) hit Optimal Optimus. He's just a well done character.
