We all know that this is the day that TFP will air, it makes no sence the 28th is on a Monday, usually it airs on Saturdays, unless The Hub changed their dates.

That's exactly what they did for the season 1 premiere. Season 2's probably going to be another multi-part miniseries that they air one installment daily for a week

 

If this is the case, they better air a commercial for season 2 and actually tell the viewers about the change, not just expect that everyone did their research and know what day and time it airs.

 

Where are you guys getting the info it will air on the 28th? All I see listed on the guide for that day is Metal Attraction and Rock Bottom.

And if it wasn't going to air on the 28th of this month, Hasbro would what squashed the rumors by now. So until they do, it's now 14 days left before the season premiere.

It should be interesting how the new schedule for Prime will be.

That's one item I don't like about the Hub; they like to change the air time for Prime and other cartoons every 4-8 weeks.

 

However, if it is airing on the 28th, you'd have thought we'd have had a new trailer by now. It's about time we got some momentum going for season 2.

 

Speaking of Trailers, was the original teaser shown on the Hub? Or was it an online only thing?

 

The one with Orion's fancy tattoo? Yes, that one was online-only. It was also uploaded onto the Hub's website.

 

I imagine that the Monday schedule is just for the season 2 premiere. Might even have a five-parter beginning like season 1 had. I would be surprised if they didn't go back to the Saturday scheduling for the rest of the season.

 

I notice that Hasbro did a similar thing with the second season of My Little Pony. There were hardly any trailers or advertising for it, they simply said when it was going to begin and the Bronies did the rest, and the first images and clips of episode 1 only showed up a few days before it was set to air.
I predict that they'll do a similar thing with Prime, hardly any marketing or advertising until just before it's due to start.

 

But then again no one is. Still I'll believe the TFWiki over random mysterious informant. At least they point out when something is a rumour.

You guys have to remember this would be a season 2 premiere, not a show premiere like Season 1 was. Those are much less noisy than show premieres.

 

I also see it like this. Maybe we think it's the second coming of Primus, but perhaps this November was just "another break" in their schedule and they will simply just return, like they did when we'd get new episodes. The producers call it season 2, and we call it season 2, but they may just be treating it like "new episodes this November," thus, not something you promote the hell outta.
