Since Optimus and Bumblebee are getting leader classes in the Prime toyline, do you think Megatron will? I certainly hope so.

Well, around DOTM time Hasbro said they were done with Decepticon leader toys.

Given the way DOTM played out, they may have meant it (Sentinel was complicated and sold as a bot).

See what they say at Botcon, but I sure wouldn't hold my breath.

No more Leader Class Decepticons????? Are you kidding me???

That has to be the most retarded decision Hasbro has made.

Unless he gets more of an earth mode I wouldn't hold my breath. DotM Megs would have been awesome but, he didn't get one.

    The weaponizers aren't leader class.
I think they said at botcon that they're closer to the old ultra class.
These days, the larger the toy, the harder the sale.
    Especially to parents & kids.
Consider OP & BB a test run.
If they sell, other figs may be considered for this class.

    RARRRGH!

There's no such thing as 'Never' when it comes to Transformers and revisiting size-classes or characters, just not for the forseeable.

I wish they'd reserve the BIG size classes for the BIG characters. So... not Bumblebee.

AEC got it right, at least...

Would love to see it happen but I doubt it will. Optimus and Bee are HasTak's go-to guys for anything bigger than a Voyager these days. Blame the economy and Cons/villianous toys being harder sells than the Bots/heroic toys, particularly at larger scales and price points, apparently. It's the same reason why we haven't seen a DOTM Leader Megatron, or why DMK/Revoltech only has Optimus and Bee available.

I don't care either way because it will probably end up looking horrible and way out of scale.

They're the size of Leader Class and the price of an Ultra.

    Source or proof of this?

If they did do a Unicron, maybe they'll make a "rock lord" version and have us try to troop-build those? XD

This Decepticons don't sell well is rubbish. From the looks of every one of the 9 toy stores I visit, the Decepticon leaders are the only ones that sell out. Even the latest PRID voyager Megatron has sold out most places I go.

Its a self fulfilling prophecy. If they only make 1/4 Megatrons to a case then Megatron can only ever sell 1/4 as well as Prime. Amazing.

this. and if OP and BB do well as prime leaders, then hasbro should only make two other leaders: Megatron and Dreadwing

Well Leader Starscream was a hit if I remember correctly. Hasbro really should have made a DOTM Leader Megatron. It's not their fault if they don't sell if you don't design it right.

Maybe Leader Class Decepticons didn't sell well for the first two movies becasue they couldn't be bothered making a decent Leader Class Megatron in the first place?

Brawl is a solid enough toy, but they managed to muck up the distribution.

if they did it'd end up having six fake chests and a ton of back kibble.

A better Idea would be a voyager scaled Unicron that can be used as a Cyberverse set.
