^ Dayumn, sounds like you guys didn't keep your forward momentum with RID. Good luck on Arcee and Ratchet, they're neat figures.

@Ironhide4: Yeah, I know. I was hoping things had changed for you guys when you got the first wave of RiD before anyone else.

Already got Arcee and a Ratchet on the way just looking for a cheapish Vehicon and Knockout.

the little scratches on his sides (in alt mod) that people keep pointing out are actually part of his paint job in the show. He's got like this hard geometric flame job that starts silver and fades into that red shade. It looks much better in the show and the gradient is also less abrupt.

He is also supposed to have a silver skirt deco. it isn't a solid strip of silver...it is some kind of pin striping that has increasingly thinner blocks of silver as you move from the front to the back of the car.

NICE! I was trying to find a way to get the shoulder pads to lock in while having that abdomen piece out and just couldn't do it. Thanks for showing how!

Hm... The more "mistransformed" you his make him, the better he looks, there for making me believe that you aren't actually mistransforming him, it's just shitty instructions from the company.. great review, the mote I see of him, the mote in wanting him.

And just like that - your new transformation of the chest made him go from a figure I was easily passing on, to a figure I might grab...

That new transformation makes Knock Out look so much better. Definitely going to have to grab one of these now.

This transformation IS the correct transformation. I just received mine today off of eBay and I tried the "official" one... I had a horrible time following their mess of instructions. (Awful.) I tried Peaugh's, which is a good alternative to the ones in the instructions, but this one actually fits like a glove. All of the pieces fit and lock correctly without any problems. He becomes rock solid because of it.

Even if Hasbro's designers came here and said it wasn't the right way, I'd tell them they're full of shit and this IS the way to do it.

Once you have him in hand and try all three transformations, you'll see what I'm talking about. So, thanks for the video for pointing out the correct transformation. Saves the figure.

I'm glad you found my method so useful. I would love to hear the thoughts of the designers on this figure's chest area.
