I love the idea of Transformers (the concept, the characters, the whole she-bang) being exported to all countries of the world, so that kids everywhere can grow to love and cherish these varied characters as much as I did as a child- and arguably do so even more as an adult- but.. am I the only one who feels that every country of the world also needs their own persona Peter Cullen to be able to voice OP? Heeeeee....just doesn't sound even close to the same level of powerful, masterly, and leader-like in Russian (or Japanese for that matter). Oh well, show looks great!
This looks fun! I like how the promo took a different appraoch with it when compaired to the USA which tried to be all epicy and all that. Since I'm learing to speak Russian right now I may give watching this in russain a go to try out my skiils!
Yes, I recently accidentally saw one episode on the channel Karusel I thought, here everybody knows and not dared to write Yes, the voice is really lame bit, although translation is excellent. But Russia have own Peter Cullen, even better than yours, English speaking Just watch Michael Bay's FILM with Russian dubbing!... There His voice is gorgeous... I'm in love with the voice of Russian Optimus...

Translations is great. I'm so glad that we have Starscream not stupid translation as Skandalist. Trying to watch every episode(I have already seen all episodes in english)
That's right! There's Optimus's original G1 Japanese voice actor who's VERY impressive in his own right! I wonder if he'll voice Optimus in the Japanese airing of Transformers Prime?
To me russian often sounds like talking drunken in reverse And sometimes it sounds a bit similar to japanese. Maybe Megatron could say "Nu!!! Nu Optimus pogodi!!!"

Yeah well, Peter Cullen's Optimus since 2007 is nothing more than slogan spouting and patronizing. Powerful, masterly? Give me a break. The "old", original G1 Optimus Prime beats the "new" Cullen's Optimus hands down. There is only one Peter Cullen, but if only Optimus Prime he can do now is the one from the films and Prime series, than he needs to retire. And the "russian" OP is more closer to the "old", original G1 Optimus Prime than Cullen's "new" Prime.
I quite enjoyed hearing what the characters sound like in another language. Most were good, Raf sounded a bit too young though.
he can still do the old optimus. he's just doing the newer one because the people(non TF super fans) want a newer optimus.
