yep agreed, i like this show. heck even my wife watches this one with me and she always complaining about my figures that i try to customize lol. but people will always jump on something new to try to tear it apart(and if they can't do that, they correct your spelling for you, cus you know how much that hurts my feelings...), in a previous thread i said it simple enough, those are the same people who hated on the new movies by bay when they came out... it was just like the original. okay great it wasn't but i have seen the original so many times if it was just like it i would have walked out. upping the graphics on something old doesn't make it better, you have to make the whole thing better, and in my opinion the movies did. but as for TFP, i think it an good show, maybe not the best, but then again i still laughing on the inside about thundercrackers voice from the Cybertron series. lol  

 

When has any other character been is this situation other than Optimus in Sick Mind? I'm not talking about being in danger, but when it seems as if there is no chance of survival. I shall admit that being able to fight back will make it a bit more interesting but after three episodes of Bulkheads gonna die, him being able to fight won't make too big a difference to how interesting the episode is.

Also, I never said I liked the Mcguffins either and praise the writers for using them less this season. But this will be the second time in ten episodes they've done Bulkhead gonna die.

 

Back to Episode 10 "Armada"...

Someone mentioned a connection to Dreadwing since he used to be captain of a Seeker Armada. I'm starting to think that he may have a big role in this episode despite his name not appearing in the description.

Maybe before Bulkhead goes up against Megatron, he and Dreadwing go at it and in the midst of everything Dreadwing begins to have a little more doubt on his mind about whether he's on the right side. (He was the character who would have doubts about choosing the right side, wasn't he?)

I agree with kaijuguy. You can't really know if a series is good or bad unless you've actually seen the entire series.

I also agree with Sideswipe to an extent, certain episodes are boring as hell. I've made it clear for a while how I feel about this series. Most of season 1 was a huge disappointment. But there have been some episodes I liked and season 2 has yet to show anything that was boring. It may still happen, I hope it doesn't but we don't know yet.

Point is if you actually watch the entire series and you still don't like it then fine you're entitled to your opinion. It's not really fair to judge a series based on a hand full of episodes. Just because "Masters and Students" was boring doesn't mean that "Loose Cannons" is also boring.

Optimus and Arcee almost froze to death while Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Ratchet were getting eaten by Scraplets in "Scrapheap".

Ratchet could have been killed by Megatron in "Stronger Faster".

Bumblebee also could have been killed by Megatron 3 different times in "Sick Mind", "One Shall Fall", and "Orion Pax Part 3". It was also mentioned in Operation Bumblebee Part 1 that Megatron almost killed him back on Cybertron.

Arcee was near death after her fight with the Insecticon in Orion Pax Part 3 and woke up with a Scraplet chewing on her foot. Arcee was "escorted" off the Nemesis in "Orion Pax part 1" into freezing conditions which we already know could have killed her.

And you already mentioned the sickness that Optimus Prime suffered. Of course there was also the highly explosive device that Optimus was hauling in "Convoy" that if it had gone off would have killed him Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee and the kids who ended up tagging along.

Technically if they were doing "Bulkhead gonna die" they'd only do it once because he'd be dead already. Also sense Wheeljack and Optimus were standing right there they would have died too so it's not just Bulkhead.

Oh and yes. They have introduced 3 McGuffins this season but thankfully they didn't revolve the entire episode around them. It was just here's the thing now lets move on with the rest of the story that has nothing to do with this thing.

Spark Extractor, which I don't know if anyone else noticed this but it has a matching color scheme with Megatron like it was just made for him.

The Shield Generator which was less a McGuffin and more of a standard piece of equipment. I could actually see that thing being mass produced rather than that's the only one and it's super mega crazy powerful.

And the Hammer which HEY no one can even use.

In any case McGuffins are defiantly a lot more interesting when they're present but not the center of attention in an episode.

 

Um... NO... That would be Breakdown. Dreadwing is loyal to Megatron and nothing is ever going to change that.

 

You only have a point with Scrapheap, which adds one story to every Autobot, including another to Bulkhead. And Maybe also Convoy. Every other near death experience you pointed out only lasted a little bit. I'm talking about the near death being a huge part of the episode.

OK. It seems as if Bulkhead will die. But that takes longer to write. And again, OP and Jacky only took part in the danger at the very end. I guess Wheeljack could be counted as he also tried to disarm the bomb.

Really, I'd like to see here a thread, where would all spoilers go, because it is not that relevant to track "Transformers News and Rumors", when there exists TFP section.

 

I'm pretty sure the description means that Bulkhead is trapped in the ship while two parties are about to try and murder Megatron.

Not that he will try to kill Megatron twice, though it WOULD be hilarious to watch the big guy trying to be all sneaky assassin like.

The Dinobots have already been created in this continuity. Fall of Cybertron was specifically designed to fit into the show's continuity.
