I am not a terribly big fan of the Alt mode, but holy (insert your favorite 4 letter word) that bot mode is gorgeous! I may pre-order the Shiny Japanese one instead of buying the two pack with Prime cause, well... I don't want Deluxe Prime.
Looks neat, but I don't want the Prime, the kids, or the DVD so its a pass. Unless it shows up as a Black Friday thing at around $20 or so. Odds of that happening are about the same as Encore Devastator showing up there too.
I'm with you actually, so make that two. Alien alt-mode kills it for me. Sad because bot-mode is pretty cool IMHO.

1) The sweeps heads popped up, but were hidden otherwise, right? 2) In what fiction were alt modes not for disguise? Pretty sure I saw some G1 episodes where they stated that Autobots donned them first for teh exact purpose of disguise. Now of course this is a new fiction, and I'm not sure they've addressed that here, so forgive me if they have.
Looks like I'll definately be buying this 2 pack now, if only for Megatron. I was considering just waiting for a regular release but these pics have swayed me.
Apart from a few dudes like Soundwave, transformation never seemed to be treated as a disguise on Cybertron. How the hell would that even work, when virtually every bit of autonomous machinery is probably a Transformer? I'd be more surprised when a hunk of metal over there didn't transform into something else. Maybe in very early iterations of G1, the notion might have come up. None of the modern iterations bother keeping up with that farce. It's pointless.

Looks awesome, however i think i'd going to wait for the "real" Megatron. the voyager sized one. it' like TF Animated all over again. they have the entertainment 2pack which was good molds but then they come out with the voyager sized Optimus and Megatron and those are WAY better.
On the other hand, I'm impatient, and this is the only Megatron (barring Cyberverse) that we're getting anytime soon, and I'm taking it. Plus I want the PVCs of the kids.
Its like dupery to me. Same problem was with DotM Megatron. I hope Japanese version will be like this, because real pictures show many typical paint mistakes. Figure is nice, but coloring is weak.
Terrible paintjob hasbro!! Looks really ugly, why you can finish painting like on that one from toy fair.
Me either. But this is at least a pretty good representation of the alt mode I don't like, and I do like the robot mode. I'll pick up a Voyager if it's painted well.
I agree this Deluxe version is insane I think the voyager is just gonna blow our minds. I cant wait to see images of it.
Maybe they're reserving the voyager for a possible new altmode in season two? (pure speculation, not actually based on anything)
