I picked up a cyberverse Breakdown the other day and I like his weapon so much that I decide to mount it on my voyager Breakdown. i drilled a hole in the bottom the cyberverse weapon, which was a bit tricky I found because of the softer plastic it's made from. As a reuslt the hole is slightly off center but it still looks fine. I painted the tip of the cannon and the body of the cannon in testors acrylic aluminium, I left the barrel of the cannon untouched. As I recall that's how it appeared in the show and the cannon is fairly show accurate, for his vehicle mode at least. I think in robot mode it's the same cannon just minus the long barrel.

I used a 5mm shelf stud as the port because I couldnt find anything else and I just glued it in place.
This is a super easy and super quick mod, the most time consuming thing was waiting for the glue to dry.

I also included some pictures of the cannon in alternate postions and some pictures of AM Skywarp's micron which looks really well with Breakdown in robot and alt mode. The pictures also show how I store his rhinohammer in alt mode, it keeps the hammer pretty much out of the way and doesn't interfere with the overall asthethic of the alt mode too much. I like to postion the shuriken/drill micron as a radar dish type thing in alt mode.

All comments and constructive criticism are welcome.

You've got massive balls for doing this to a Breakdown.

I dunno dude, I'm thinking Irish carnage is just trying to make his good figure better, more show correct and not treating it as an expensive investment for future sale, just enjoying the toy which really is the point of the game

I think I'm gonna try this. I'm gonna re-watch some eps to get the look of it in bot-mode down first though I think.

Looks great, but I'd never have the nerve to do this myself.

why not? It's just slicing up a cyberverse weapon, you don't do anything to Breakdown himself

*Update* Having surveyed the episode "Operation breakdown", to make the cannon perfectly show-accurate, the back part would have to be encased in that clam-shell bit with the barrel poking out next to his face. Not sure how to do that part other than sculpting it from scratch, though it does resemble the escape shuttle from Alien.
