Dunno when, but it'll be interesting.

If the train makes it in, I hope that it is a Deluxe figure that comes with an ark-sized playset of three train cars.

    They spelt Sumalee as "Somali"!

Like that the "Predatory" ep. was mentioned as a special one to the production team. I certainly felt like it was one of the more stand-out eps. in the series so far. And with Airachnid and Arcee mentioned as character favourites, I'm sure we'll be seeing more great stories and drama from their rivalry!

It could have been cool to see Tania Gunadi come to Botcon dressed as Miko! She totally could look like her!

    Vector Sigma?

    Thanks for the link Heroic!

Huh. BIG goof on their part.

It was. definitely one of the scarier episodes of the show.

Lol that would be hilarious! Maybe next year?

    Consensus of the fandom.

Np, But is no one else interested in the fact that they wanted Astrotrain (or Railspike) in the show?

I'm interested in it. It's cool to see that they want a train-bot in it, and I've always liked Astrotrain.

I hope that if it's an autobot, it's Railspike. if it's a con, Steamhammer or something OTHER than Astrotrain. No offense, but I'd like my Train TFs to have decent names.

Steamhammer is a great train name. I would be okay with it.

Yesyesyes! ^ THIS RIGHT HERE is why I always defend Michael Bay and the live action movies. The films have some unfortunate issues, but their success and profits have put the franchise as a whole into an incredibly good position. If getting a show like Prime is the result, I'll gladly forgive leg-humping bots and skanky humans. Hasbro's new success means great things for the fandom as a whole.

Doing good so far for this particular fan! :thumb

They think correctly. The cast is fantastic, and they've managed to successfully snag Welker and Cullen, which no other recent cartoon has been able to do. But I hate that they kind of glossed over the Animated voices...that show had an excellent cast as well.

"The design team had to wait until the five-part episode mini-series was done before they could begin creating toys"

Absolute and total bullshit. First wave Prime toys were finished not long after the five-episode series aired. The obstacle with Transformers Prime is the same as it was with Cartoon Network and Transformers Animated - getting with the character designer from the cartoon to create a symbiotic relationship (like Siebenaler and Wyatt had) so that the stuff shown on TV can be turned in to a physical toy.

New studio, bound to be some communication misses and I have a pretty solid idea that was the case in the beginning. But what do I know.

Well..misspelling one of the main characters VA name, not cool..and that Polygon likes to animate Miko..of course, probably won't ever lose that character then.

Why do they act surprised that Cullen and Welker would work so well with the newer VA's? Of course, they would, they're professionals.

They've lost the fear of not having the kids around all the time anymore, the Transformers are like living, breathing characters. Yay, that's something we've been saying for a long, long time.

Not much new and surprising in this interview but the one little slip, or was it??
    Vector Sigma is mentioned..hmmmm..

Ugh. Can't really argue with what they said about Miko being a mischeivous teenager, but I don't have to like it. (I swear I was watching a 5 year old in a 15 year old's body in Shadowzone, though)

    Vector Sigma. Hnn.

What's more outrageous then the delay in toys (which is even longer then Animated's delay was, the show was barely even on when the toys showed up) is that only like what, three or four toys are coming out this year? They really are dragging their ass here.

A lot, a lot alot alot of bullshit there. Including, but not limited to, the nonsense about "best voice cast since Sunbow" which is an outright lie, since the voice acting this series is nowhere near writing home about, and Beast Wars and Animated both had way better casts than sunbow's. (also, newsflash, every Soundwave sans movie has had the vocorder effect) Also, "The head Megatron episode was messed up." What?

I also don't like what they say about charatcers and alliances happening at random. It shouldn't be random, it should be cohesive. If characters and twists are thrown in randomly it becomes a jumbled mess.

    Should not be surprised.

The episode's theme was flat out "how much everybody even after the war wants each other dead", that's not exactly a tame subject.

Also they said that alliances WON'T be formed randomly, but don't blame you for reading it wrong, TFormers writer seems to be rushing everytime he writers about Convention information.

"With a limited number of characters, they be relying on intrigue and shifting alliances more in coming episodes. However, it will never be done randomly. When every they make a turn in the storyline, it has got to be meaningful."

    OH.

The way he worded it sounded... moving on...

    Okay, that's good to know.

And yet with the exception of Steve Blum and Jeffery Combs the others have left absolutley no impression on me. :/

God no, hate that name. Personality's awesome though. How about using say, Windrazor?
