    TFNation have announced the dates of their 2017 show along with the venue - the Hilton Birmingham Metropole (same as last year).

    TFNation 2017 is taking place over the weekend of 11-13 August 2017 - who is joining me there? I'll try and track a few more of you down this time!

    Me, my niece Monai, and my sister. my mom and brother may also come to the convention this time.

    Just got my weekend ticket!
    PSA: If you're thinking of staying in the Premier Inn near the convention I'd advise against it unless you have a car. When I was there last time a road was closed and the alternative route to walk there wasn't very nice to say the least.

    I wonder what the exclusive is going to be like. I finally received my Scorpinator after Australia Post lost the first one. After reimbursement I FINALLY managed to get it. Hopefully this one will be just as bonkers.

    All booked, be nice to have a chill out weekend away from work, surrounded by robots. Just have to save up to buy more artwork again, the Alex Milne and Nick Roche work I picked up last time need company!

    What actually is tfnation cos i cant really find any info on their online page and i'd definitely be interested in going but im just not too sure whats there in total honesty:)

    It cost me 50 per night to stay at ibis last year which is cool but this year ive gone for the actual venue sick of schlepping across the monorail to and from the site. 60 per night isnt bad at all really plus breakfast.

    From that you can find the guest lists, news a d galleries TFNation® - TFNation 2016 Page 1 which will give you a visual idea.

    But basically three day event, toys, guest including comic artists, writers, actors, toy designers, movie screenings, live script reading, panels, workshops, cosplay contest, replica cars, dedicated art and craft area for fan creations etc
