Well, there is no panel line were it should be in vehicle mode so it has to be fake but proportionally it looks same, not sure how it works couse those chest parts look too big to be fake and fit in vehicle mode  

 

That's what I was thinking. Where the heck do they go? I don't see any backpack kibble.

We all asked that when we saw Peru Kill, but it was legit.

Less credibility here being a new player but hope is good.

 

The vehicle mode doesn't seem to have any of the transformation panel lines yet. Since its a 3d model, it probably fits together so perfectly that the lines just don't show up.

 

That’s what it must be. There’s no way they can hide an entire car grill inside a bot mode that sleek nor should they try. With movie designs you should try and use every piece of kibble you can.

 

The chest is too big to hide in vehicle mode, and the car front is too big to hide in bot more. If this thing actually fully transforms, then that has to be the real car front.

 

Hope it's NOT part-forming.

The robot mode at least in the torso lacks the vehicle kibble.

 

Only thing I can nitpick on right now is that I hope they improve the overall shape of the headsculpt. Looks too round to me right now. Peru Kill looks amazing, but his headsculpt isn’t that accurate and he kinda looks cone-heady so that’s my nitpick.

 

the transformation might gave some tricks similar to Peru kill (turning stuff inside out) to hide kibble. The back looks like one piece with added door wings, so it might be flipped around to reveal roof (just like peru kill) the doors move on hinges and the roof of the car with doors is complete, chest obviously becomes front and legs fill up the sides and back of the car. But that's just speculation on how it might transform

 

Then this is way way way way more impressive than peru kill.

 

if you think about it peru kill had to hide almost everything in robotmode, hot rod needs to hide only some parts because he has prominent car kibble (chest is hood, shoulder pads are vents near doors, doors are wings, thighs have door handles so they might be part of the doors and sides of the car etc.)
Edit: overall it looks like a combination of Peru Kill and mpm bumblebee and it makes sense to my mind in some weird way  

 

Can't wait to see the full body so we can start figuring out how he transforms.

Fair enough, but your descriptions weren't very specific. I'm wanting to look at this guy clearly to try and figure out exactly how he transforms.  

 

Even with a full picture we can only speculate until we see the actual review or figure in hand. And I'm pretty sure that my theory on how it works, while not 100% specific, is still somewhat right
