Just not as good as the Perfect Effect version IMO. I can see what they were going for, but to me, it's not Reflector.

I guess you need to supply your own lens...

Im kinda torn now after seeing these pics.. I thought pe reflector was way > but... this very "updated" look of reflector fits in the tradition of classics better, imo.. Giving a modern look to classic characters. Want both for sure, just dunno which will go in classics display >.>

It looks like a point and shoot camera. I'm sure there will be a telescopic lens when more pics surface.

Can't wait for the price. Don't plan on getting it (unless the price is right), but this could be a good indicator as to the price of the Not-Constructicons.

    They are different philosophies.

Perfect Effect emphasized the robot modes with heavy, heavy parts-forming. They were clever in integrating parts that were both part of the camera shell and also awesome weapon/equipment for the individual figures, but nonetheless did not achieve "perfect" transformation; the camera itself looks very much like 3 robots and add-on parts.

TF-C went for a more streamlined camera mode, but the robots have kibble. Lots and lots of kibble. I also think the camera lights up somehow, so they put electronics in there.

either way, you got options, which is never bad. I hope both have good QC.

In my experience, Perfect Effect has always had great QC.

The thing is, who is really going to display either version in camera mode?

    Exactly.

Therefore, whoever has the best robot modes wins, and in this case, it's the PE figures.

    Torn on this one.

PE emphasised the Robots, TFC are emphasising the In Disguise.

Will probably just get the Generations Perceptor repaint.

As long as the bots have good articulation, and the price is under 150USD.

    I like this one better!

The other one has more weapons, but I think I have a few extras to lend them...

Plus we havnt seen anything else but the main figures themselves. We still have time for a surprise or two...

Looking good! Waiting for more from TFC...

Nice but I'll stick with the PE version. Little too much kibble on this guy, although I like the size better.

Like the update, but I'm a sucker for cartoon accuracy (or attempts at it)

Nifty, and I may still bite if the price is right, but PE wins.
