Yep, people can do a lot more than just green. Hell, shoes have been able to use glow in the dark blue & red in the outsoles, off the top of my head, so it's definitely something companies can do if they want.

Looks nice, but the palette is a little garish for my tastes. (No offence Lazy if this is your work, you do some great stuff  ).

If anything, I'd love for the Autobot mask to be sold seperately for use on Tyrantron...

Who am I kidding. If the UK pricing isn't too ridiculous, I'll probably pick one up regardless.  

 

I like that he is in glitch colors sort of, I dislike the head behind the mask being black instead of orange.

 

While I don't know much about the character I dig that he's, essentially, the Shattered Glass version

Oh don't worry garish was entirely the plan I've known for many many months this would be one of the most divisive palettes ever. Some people will like it, some will love it, some will dislike it some will haaaaate it.   He's very G2 in that sense so no points to anyone pointing out this guys a bit more on the ugly side of things as he's not trying to be conventionally eye pleasing, kinda the point.

 

Lazy, can you provide some insight as to why it's so close to glitch in color scheme but you didn't go the whole 9 yards?

 

You mean the dark green head? that was Byrin and the bosses decision, I always had it as being red also like the comic. But we weren't trying to do an exact 1-1 of Glitches palette arrangement from the get go so much as transpose it on to Kultur and make it work for his sculpt. So I theorize Byrin felt since one of Tarns biggest design elements relative to his head is the mask being a definitively separate portion of his head that the color contrast be maintained there. So it was either red head, grey/black mask or the reverse and because he has the autobot icon mask it made more sense to me to have that be the red portion just as Tarns mask is purple.

That said couple weeks ago I asked if we could do a red head anyway as I would have liked to have that option and got a so-so response for now. So I dunno maybe we could cast another in red and ship it with one of the future djd members, I certainly would love that since then he can truly look like Glitch with Tarns body.

I think it looks pretty cool, if I get lucky enough I'll try to grab one off PSX or Chosen Prime if they get any stock. This will either be Glitch or Shattered Glass Tarn.
