Here is my attempt at an articulated TFCON Toxin Transtector. All I need is a TFCON Toxin. If anyone can help hook me up with one, please pm!

I just need to finish up a few paint apps and waiting for some Chromedome reprolabels to arrive for the final touches. Airbrush applied metallic paints, inked and dry brushed for detail. I added removable fists, a Decepticon tech spec readout module, cockpit seat with steering wheel and controls, a custom weapon to further distinguish him from Chromedome, and arm and leg articulation. Took quick pics with my phone, I'll post better photos when he is complete.

I cannibalized another junker Chromdome to fill in the inside of the arms. They end up a little bulky in car mode, but there have to be trade-offs. Adding joints to the hips and legs is very difficult because the hip joints pretty much have to mount below the crotch plate instead of behind it and the thighs have to be very thin to fit behind the knee pads. I used joints from a junker Cybertron Optimus Primal and leg/hip joints from Energon Landmine.

Also, anyone else notice that Chromedome and Metroplex have the same wheels?

Update: Finished a few paint apps and applied reprolables. Added pics with Loafer.

looks good, hope you can find a Toxin, with only 100 of them out there, they're not that easy to get

Beautiful work! and I agree with what Bellyboy had to say:

With your talent, a Cobra headrobot would be A LOT more cheaper to get and with your talent you can make it look like the Toxin colors no problem. Toxin sadly was very limted at TFcon and getting one now can set you back a cool $100-$200 easy, while a simple Cobra Headrobot is sometimes as low as $20 bucks.

As the creator of the character and concept, I just want to say, great job man! I am sure Alex Milne and Josh Perez would be proud too

Can you put a Loafer head on it? Toxin did steal Loafer's transtector. I have not seen anyone do it like that yet.

Fantastic job! This looks just great.

I have a chromedome of my own that I'm planning to turn into toxin, I'm going to save your pics as inspiration.

Thanks for yours and everyone else's kind words! I may paint a Cobra in the end, but I kinda considered this to be a receptacle for the real thing as I was making it. I've been working on a Stronghold to match, so a set would be nice. Also, thanks for making these characters, seeing the comic pages online really brought these to life for me.

Great idea. I didn't know that, I've just seen the DeviantArt pages with no text! I didn't realize that was Loafer! I'll post pics when I get him finished up.

There you go. It's not as bad a color clash as I thought it was going to be. Loafer will do until/unless I locate Toxin!

As long as you keep enjoying them, I will keep working on the comic and making them.
