I'm unable to make it this year but was wondering if anyone could pick me up the FP Diaclone Severo. I will cover cost of the figure and shipping.

 

Anyone know if the servio is also included with the class or is it a separate purchase?

Pappy's specializes in G1 and older transformers toys. We do have some current transformer toys like combiner wars G2 Bruticus and Computron sets, Titan Mindwipe, Highbrow, Fort Max to name a few. We will also have a parts party / Friday night preview in our hotel room.

 

Sitting at home not going. I am wondering though; will there be a 3P panel? Will we get some reveals this time?

 

I'm not very happy about G2 Grimlock as a custom class figure.

I've been in on the FP Dinobots and picking up the normal & Diaclone versions, but with the slow rollout & seemingly meh sales, I wrote of G2 redecos (of just the "core" 3 released as part of the G2 line, blue Grimlock/green Slag/red Snarl) as unlikely. Now we're getting a blue Grimlock as a custom class figure.

If they felt there's limited interest, I guess I can understand why G2 stuff would get stuck with that release method, but then again I wonder if FP had gotten off their asses and moved things faster, if they could've at least kept interest up and kept the door open for more convention release methods for G2 versions (even if it was as more convention exclusives). So much of how they've handled this line has been confusing or annoying to me already, so this is just another part of that (and releases in general of late - dragging their feet on the Function FX line, people are still waiting on them to finish Dinoking and the shells, and some like me are still waiting/holding out hope for a Monstructor). I don't know if there's enough demand to support a bigger release for these, but as someone that's wanted these a lot, this is still frustrating to see this.

 

So will the class include the figure to customise also

Anyone know if there will be more shirts available at the door? I went all in on the weekend ticket, but when I registered, every single size was "sold out". Pretty sure I bought a shirt at the con last time it was in Chicago, but I figured I'd ask just in case, because I definitely want one.

 

If anybody is interested in grabbing drinks Friday night I think that would be a great way for some of us members to meet and introduce ourselves. It is always nice to put a name with a face. I only live 25 minutes away so I was going to at least stop in and pickup my registration packet. Probably grab a couple drinks too.
