at 65% of non-attendee price:
TFSource. No thanks.
I dont trust my card with them. Will have to pass.
Pretttty sure you can check out with paypal, if it makes any difference.
I believe you can, I just usually use my card for purchases and I dont trust them with any info.
Im sorta surprised about the 65 tbh. When a member offered to get me one for around 60, I thought THAT was pretty mad fair. 20 to cover not having to go there to "get there", having it shipped to me, and just the effort put in. 25 seems reasonable to me too, especially considering its an online toy shop, and not a fellow board member willing to specifically grab one for you. Id bet they sell out quick ish.
pretty much what i paid to get it from an attendee, except that included shipping(kinda). cant imagine anyone paying the non-atendee cost of $100 and i dont see why tfcon couldnt just charge 60-ish for non-atendees in the first place.
Jesus, now I'm tempted to buy it. Too bad I don't want my information to get stolen.
Ya know... they really are taking the "exclusive" outta' convention exclusive nowadays.
the real exclusives @ tfcon are limited to 50 and 100. this is good for people who don't want to pay $100+ for this set.
Not bad for those that didn't go.
Okay, now I'm smoking mad about the TFCon price. What's the point for those who preordered early a non-attending package, when it's easily available for less at TFSource?
Good for TFSource for offering the exclusive at a more reasonable price. And they're *still* making a profit at that price.
I wonder if TF Source has actually secured theirs already. Glad I have a deal in place with a canadian member, cause there is no way I am getting suckered into going to the Source again. Finally got my last confirmation from my CC company today in the mail saying that all charges are reversed, but that retailers may try to recharge the costs again (though doubtful).
