I won't cut and paste but this was posted by Brian on TFCC boards. This is the general info.

Still trying to nail down the 2nd exclusive. They're on their 3rd suggestion and waiting for approval.

Trying to get Punch, Freebie and 3rd item made at the same time.

Botcon 2010 set was approved and they're moving forward with it.

working on programing for online registration for Botcon but most likely won't be ready for 2010 registering.

I was hoping Punch/Counterpunch would be out at the end of this year, because Club membership just isn't worth the price any more and I didn't want to have to renew for another year because of P/CP. Hopefully, the next "free" figure is something good.

Oh for fuck's sake. I'm not spending 11 hours trying to get a goddamn fax through again.

Nice to hear an update at least.

I really want to know what the 2nd exclusive is!

And if I can swing it, I'm going to Botcon this year!!! Er... next year

EDIT: I hope the approved Botcon set is one of Whitemochas digibashes

I wonder if we can at least be told what the rejected ideas were...

It is nice to hear that they are doing something about the registration. Although I had hoped this year was the last year to have to deal with a fax machine....

That would be a disaster. No matter WHAT got rejected, there's going to be some group of fans that would RAGE over it.

This unfortunately. As much as I love BotCon and TFCC does do a decent job of running things, except for pre-registration...

Oh, kwitcherbitchen. I've done your faxing for the last 2 years. :p

Draven: If you want me to do yours next year, I'd be happy to. Seems ridiculous for you to pay overseas phone charges to fax in your pre-reg. Of course, you'd have to trust me with your cc number.... :D

There is nothing that can explain it better than this.

Sigh... Unfortunately you're right. I'd LOVE to see things that never made it past the concept stage. Like during the Hasbro tour in 2007, we got to see all kinds of nifty things...

Yeah, I figured they're on their last legs when it comes to ideas for their 2nd exclusive. Considering it seemed they were on the cusp of getting it confirmed at Botcon, I figured the fact that they still haven't announced it yet meant something was wrong...

The best part of this news is the mini-revolt it took for Brian to even respond with news. Several "essay-posts" re: exactly how angry people are at B & the C later, and Pete and Brian make quick, conciliatory "sorry - we're working on things!" appearances.

    The natives are restless...

I think telling what the rejected ideas is a bad idea. Look at how frustrated people are about the unused Titanium molds. You'll inevitably get people who will say I would have bought that had they only used _______ design.

I'm pretty sure this is my last year with TFCC, unless Botcon is announced for Orlando/ Tampa- unless the 'Freebie' figure is something truly excellent. 48 pages of magazine a year works out to about $1 a page; last issue had really big pics of upcoming Legends figures, and much smaller pics of upcoming Deluxe and Voyager figures.

So if we have to wait for (Counter)Punch until they're doing next year's freebie, that means it will be nearly 2 years between (Counter)Punch and the previous club exclusives. Funny how they didn't have any problems producing all those BotCon exclusives including an additional set of toys in 2008 (previously a box set, two attendee packs and the attendee freebie.)
