thanks. I've had many repaint ideas over the years, but that one has always been my favorite. Oh, and here's some of the others I forgot:

Ironfist - Universe Hound, new head

Guzzle - Generations Warpath

 

If they really are digging up older molds, I'd like to see them redeco the Rail Racer combiner from RID.

 

I figured the Subscription Service would be a good outlet for the Elite Guard Over-Run that was in the magazine 2 years ago, but I sent Pete an e-mail and he said it's not in their plans.

I also suggested that they make Ironfist out of ROTF Brawn. I know most people want to see him come from Hound, but I think Brawn's alt mode, head sculpt, and weaponry would make for a really fitting Ironfist

 

Whatever they make, guaranteed I'd only be interested in one or two out of 5-6 any given year.

Things I'd like to see:
Animated Soundwave -> remold -> 'Earth Mode' Animated Brawn
Hydro Bumblebee remold -> Glyph (I might also accept an Arcee remold)
Cybertron Snarl repaint -> 'unfuzed' BW Silverbolt
DOTM Skyhammer -> Deathcobra
Animated Oil Slick -> Cy-Kill

 

any estimate about how much this service is going to cost?

 

Toy speculation? Honestly, after the six we've seen so far I wouldn't know where to begin. We've had six toys from different lines, using on VERY recent mould (FE Starscream), to one that I could never have predicted (Ultra Mammoth), to a new Animated toy. All bets are off, but I hope they keep the (pleasant) surprises coming!

 

My guess is that they'll round out some of their existing lines (Animated, Shattered Glass, Wings) as new molds/ideas come to them.

I'd really be quite happy with Jhiaxus from Prime: Skyquake/Dreadwing and Krok from WFC Megatron. Both would need new heads. Jhiaxus would fit in with the G2: Redux theme, and Krok fits with the other Action Masters.

 

At that price, I hope they take payment plans...

 

Yeah, a payment plan may make or break this for a lot of people. Or at least give us a heads up far enough in advance to save up. An upfront payment would make this a major purchase. And I personally would have a hard time forking that kinda dough over to just pre-pay for figures. That's money I could put towards something else like holes in my collection, new tech/gear, or whatever.

 

Holy... I never even considered Brawn/Fallback... He would be great for Ironfist without the need for a new head to boot!

So... over the years, what characters have shown up in the club comics that are obvious newer toys but have yet to get made? Elita-One and Razorclaw got made already... I'm skipping the SG characters because there's so many random repaints..

Over-Run, Hellbat, Gaihawk, Hooligan...?

Yes... yes I was.   I DO love me some Chromedome. It was a cool idea! And potentially could work even better now with Jazz's Sideswipe remold.

Thanks Star Saber, kind of you to say!   Although I suspect if I ever did get to design a Botcon figure or something, there would be just as many people who dislike it as ever. Our fanbase is nothing if not fickle!

Still, man, SO many new molds that a ripe for repainting in the last few years. There's certainly no shortage of Botcon/TFCC contenders!

 

I would love to see them release the missing Animated Seekers through the subscription service.
