It is another method of payment that a fair amount of posters have asked for. Some people are comfortable with using it and a lot of merchants offer it. You may not wish to use it but others want the option.

This is a change I'm glad you guys went with. I'm not familiar with the package, not sure about the hundreds of merchants (my purchases online are limited to specific categories) but any change to protect our info is good. I just won't trust my info and that is also a matter of preference. Will take time to overcome that issue for some people. This is a positive step (of many needed) in the right direction.

I hope that the limit idea is the start of how some items are going to be handled in the store. This would be another great step for the club. Hopefully changes to customer service/pr are on the horizon.

And I'm telling you that it will cause more problems than it's worth.

The TF Club isn't BBTS. All it takes is one arbitrary decision and the club's entire operation could be shut down and their Paypal account suspended.

A single dispute isn't going to cause an active business account to be suspended. Multiple disputes won't cause the account to be suspended. If they sell in stock items using paypal then they also have the tracking info needed for any disputes.

Paypal is a business and looking for money. They aren't going to decide one day to close a merchant just because they can.

There are a lot of small businesses that use paypal. It's another option out there that some people prefer. It seems as if you have had issues with paypal and that is a shame if you have. I have seen nothing to say that using paypal for funpub is a horrid thing.

1500 more Runamucks??? Why not just a matching amount to Over-run...you know 1 to 1?

Limits on figures you say? Can you explain then how 1 dealer was able to purchase 200+ sets of the Junkions before the general public even had a crack at them?

But why? Your just going to have Runamucks with no partners now?...odd decision.

Have you managed to sort out the international postage charges yet? If you send out the free membership items out without signed for requirements - can you do the same for other items?

I don't believe that's accurate. I was at Botcon and the General public had plenty of opportunity to purchase. More importantly, those who bought 'Mini-Con' through 'Golden Ticket' tickets had AMPLE opportunity to purchase ATTENDEE EXCLUSIVE sets. Fun Pub, admittedly, fubars some things, but this would be an unfair accusation in my humble opinion. Also, it does seem pretty descent that they're giving people another crack at Runamuck considering people have had plenty of time to get a membership for a guaranteed Runamuck and brought some to Botcon.

Because believe it or not, not every member wants to purchase a Over-Run AKA Runabout. Many casual fans are happy with their one free toy...

Focus people, FOCUS! It's nearing noon CDT, and we need to be on the lookout for the figures going online. Next post should be "they're up!" not more rage about the system. Once it all sells out we can go back to the ranting rageness.

10:08 - argh! forgot to calculate shipping option, trying to order again
10:09 - chose usps shipping, pressed "complete your order button again"
10:15 - still waiting for order to go through
10:18 - seems like site is down
10:19 - checked credit card - do have a pending charge from Fun Pub - did order go through? Don't have a confirmation email nor does the order show up in my order history, so not sure....
11:06 - well gotta go out now, still showing pending order on my credit card website, don't want to try and order another set online and get penalized because of the order limits so hopefully I got one.
