    Latest from Facebook -

    Transformers Collectors' Club (Official)
Due to the high bandwidth demand for the Transformers' Club and BotCon products, we have been forced to take the store server for the Transformers' and G.I. Joe Collectors' Clubs offline. The system our new store software was installed on will not support the bandwidth demands that are being placed on it. The store software company will be moving us to a different server with more capacity.

So, the Transformers and G.I. Joe Collectors' Club stores will be offline for several days. We will let you know when we are operational again.

Thanks for your patience and support.

If you received a confirmation email or see a charge on your credit card, you have a good order in the system. This move will not affect any order that went through.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your enthusiasm about these products.

    Just got an email:

    Hello all,

Today we will be uploading our new set of store templates and testing them. Hopefully, if we don't find any major errors, we will be turning on the left over BotCon products, Runamuck, and other club items around noon CDT tomorrow.

Please note that you will be limited to ONE Runamuck and ONE Convention Pack (below) until we see how demand goes. Do not place a second order until we allow you, as we can see all of our orders by member and will cancel the order and charge a cancellation fee.

2012 Transformers Club Exclusive Runamuck (1 pc) $32.00

2012 BotCon Souvenir Combo Pack (Octopunch & Spinister 2pk, 2012 Comic Program, Trading Card Set) 4 pcs $110.00

We want to ensure that as many people as possible are able to get these pieces first hand without having to go to the secondary market. IF WE DON"T SELL OUT, as soon as the flurry abates, we will remove the limits.

I'll send out another email and we will tweet when the product is live.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Brian

Damn MMM, I'm getting tired of you constantly promoting TFCC! I know I know, they can do no wrong in your eyes.

That being said, goodluck- I hope it goes well for everyone.

I can't help it, they're so awesome and never try to screw fans over or blame fans for their own mistakes. Oh wait, they do that constantly.

It pains me to promote them like this but I figured a lot of people would want to know. And oddly it seems I'm the only one who got the email so far - I thought the place would have exploded with 10 different threads about it by now.

I saw a commercial for web.com or something like that. It can set you up with a full website for business in 7 days. How long did it take the club to get this new site fully functional?

I never got it at all.

Hopefully the fact they still have Spinisters in stock means they can help out a good friend of mine who got a headless Spinister.

Mine, as well. Strange, as that's actually never happened to me before (I know it's happened to others in the past).

Found it in the spam folder. Fitting.

Glad they put limits on this. Provided this is just a start with putting reasonable limits on things in the future then this is a positive step in the right direction. Too bad they have a lot to fix (customer service, pr, security).

I wonder if they will send out the email before some of the stuff is sold out. Seems in the past we've had to ask for email notification on things because they kept insisting on just using social networks for a heads up.

    Jesus,

I love how they leave the room for future potential fuckups....IF this...IF that....

nothing to address the folks that had shit cancelled with no other explanation than hate email from FP.

If you folks order...have fun with whatever mayhem insues....and don't be bitching about it on these boards...you have had PLENTY of warnings..

Spam folder for me as well, which is definitely odd.

Still, it seems that they raised the price on Runamuck, which was listed at $25, from their earlier live-for-everyone "test" sale.

That said, glad to see limits in place on those figures. Perhaps Fun Publications is actually learning from their past mistakes?

If they're going live I really hope that means that those who have not gotten their freebie have contacted FP and are being taken care of.

    Well of course they did.

With how quickly folks jumped on those "test" orders I'm sure FunPub felt they could get away with a higher price tag easily.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure the Side Burn leftovers were $32 last year, too, so I don't know that I'd call it shady. And I think the small amount they were selling on their own at BotCon were at least $32 as well.
