Wonder if the final figure will have the eye-piece remolded?

Technically, since when Sideburn was upgraded, he turned red, wouldn't putting Sideburn in the normal armor be sufficient to create upgraded Sideburn?

I don't know, they'd have to keep it really, extremely really secret or else I think it'd be certain FunPub would lose the Transformers (and probably GIJoe too) license.

As long as Fansproject are not making the molds/designs for Fun Pub, I don't see an issue. If it helps Hasbro/Fun Pub sell more, I doubt it will raise anymore eyebrows.

Do enough people really like Side Burn enough to give him a set of $100 armor?

It probably would have some extras. I can see them making Sideburn's gun/knife thingie.

Well I sent them my recolor image this morning. Hopefully they will get back to me with their thoughts of it.

In order to be interested I'd need an asymmetrical head.

Is it worth joining if you live in Canada? The price here seems a bit high... I do really want this figure and Transtech Cheetor though...

I revisited my recolor and added flames in the appropriate areas and changed some colors around now that I know what the actual Side Burn will look like. As for a weapon for him I wouldn't mind a sword that is very much like the one that came with RID Scourge but a little more red then pink. So here is the final version of TFCC Side Burn with Protector Armor, which I am still hoping we end up getting. If not then oh well Ill just make one.:thumbs2:

Side Burn is a Dodge Viper. Rodimus is more like a Ferrari. I do not think that the mold suits Side Burn. The Protector Armor makes even less sense since it had no relation to Side Burn's original character (Shattered Glass Rodimus Prime makes more sense to me). I believe that the only reason why this mold was chosen was to attract more membership, since this mold is so popular.
    Excellent Photoshop works btw.

Thank you and you make a valid point. I don't really see the figure as Side Burn but more like a blue Hot Rod. I am more for blue then red, that's why I like it so much and would love FP to make a Protector Armor for it. If they had just made a new mold for him then I'd have been happy. But since they used Rodimus I just have to have an armor for him. I have this thought in my head of a blue protector back to back with the regular red version in my display. They would complement each other so much.
