I totally agree. While I don't mind the symbol on the legs right now, it may be ugly in hand... though more than likely I'll be fine with it, so while I may not be on the same page as you in this instance, I certainly agree with your statement.

Luckily, I don't imagine that removing the decepticon emblems would be very difficult. I'm planning to join the club next week and these two are now at the top of my to-get list... and I'm going to be torn between leaving my expensivish club figures intact, or taking the symbol off for a bit more looks-like-IDW-*ation-series-ness. Wow, my spell check HATED that description!  

 

I'd not remove the logo - I just think I was feeling it didn't need it on the 80's toy and as I said I do not feel that homages need to be quite so slavish.

If only because if it didn't have the logo on the hood and retained the (hated by me) reveal the shield logo at least does have the positive side effect of him being in disguise in car mode.

A less lavish homage would therefore put the decepticon logo on his arm instead.

 

Well, look at it this way:

1. That's what credit cards are for.
2. It'll be at least twelve months before the club hits us up for more money, so plenty of time to pay it off.

 

That's a lot of Sweeps.

I stopped at 5 but they are bad ass when paired up with 2.0 Cyclonus.
